We (the US executive and military administrations) got told! Are they listening? Do they care? It's quite disturbing how much power our government has to crush the rights and lives of its own citizens, not to mention the people in countries we invade. If this doesn't illustrate the necessity of the USA adhering to international laws for justice, then what does? Also, I can't remember when I last saw compassion, civility, intelligence, and sexiness better combined than in Ms. Matias.
If the USA can't protect one of their own who tries to stand up for democracy and human rights, then what good is the military or the government? This is no way to treat a hero.
