Obviously there isn't one - I'm sure you can tell from the generation of iPods shown in the video that this report isn't exactly recent. This video (and a written article) used to be accessible on the BBC news website but hasn't been available since they updated. If you're doubting the authenticity of this report I suggest you do a google search or lookup Tom Carver on the BBC website - he's the reporter in this video and a BBC newsnight correspondent.
Hi, if you have a look at the vid description, you'll see I posted an update in June - FreebieJeebies is now available worldwide, so it's open to those in Asia too. :)
alright i looked at the website and have a few Q's 1st is that all your gifts or the stuff offer or is there more? 2nd whats a referel? 3rd will u give or send junk mail through the computer and my house? 4th will this cost me money or anything? 5th if the friends that you refer dont sing -up or anything what will happen? if u could send me a messege it will be great!!!!! thanks...... =)
Hi, sorry I accidentally removed one of your comments instead of replying, so I'll respond to both comments here. The news reporter says "wheres the catch you ask - well there isn't one if you're a savvy customer." Yes freebiejeebies is completely genuine, they've been running for a good few years and I can confirm from personal experience, they do send out gifts. :)
Freebiejeebies is really popular in the freebie community, and in my opinion, the best freebie site there is, so you have nothing to worry about there. There's no time limit to receiving gifts and they having no reason to be shutting up shop. Also, have a browse around the exceem forums for regular updates & news. Hope this helps. :)
You only need to register/sign up once, then you can login to view/complete an offer or check your referrals as necessary. Yes you'll need to refer - although this doesn't cost you anything, it earns the freebie company a referral fee, and this covers the cost of your freebie + profit.
Sure, basically it just means recommending the freebie site to a few other people, and having them sign up for their own freebie. If/when they do, they become your referrals. Hope this helps. :)
The minimum number of referrals you need to claim a gift is only two, so even if you only manage to get a couple of refs, you can always custom order a smaller gift, cash or a gift voucher for that amount - rates are around £20 or equivalent per ref. And you have nothing to lose if you pick a free offer. Otherwise you could always trade refs with other ppl if the only thing you want is an xbox360. Hope this helps. :)
Sure, I'll answer this here as well as on your homepage in case someone else wants to know the answer. You don't have to pay for postage, its delivered to you free of charge. :)
Yep, in order for those people to count as your referrals, they'll need to sign up & complete one offer. The idea is that not only will you be able to get your freebie, but your refs will have the opportunity to get one too. The commission that the freebie company receive from completed offers (even the free ones) is what covers the cost of your freebie, this is why it is necessary for your refs to sign up & also why the more refs you have, the bigger the freebie you can get. Hope this helps. :)
Wait, lets say I do it, and i get my ipod. Can I still get a gift certificate? If so how? Do I have to get another 5 friends to sign up, or my first 5 to do another offer? please respond.
Yes, once you've received your gift, you can start again. If you want a gift card or something thats not listed, send in a support ticket explaining what you want, and they'll contact you with how many refs you'll need. When you start over, you won't have to complete any additional offers, but you will need new refs, unless you have extra, in which case they will roll over and can be used again.
The only reason they need your address is so they know where to send your free gift. They're also covered by the data protection act which means they're legally required to keep all your info safe. And speaking from personal experience - they've had my details for over a year and I've had no problems. Hope this helps. :)
Hi there. The terms state that each referral must be unique, and that multiple accounts are not allowed, therefore if you refer 8 of your friends, they cannot then go and sign up under each other because it would mean they would have to create multiple accounts. The company only get paid for each unique referral you gain, so basically it's against the terms, and may lead to your accounts going on hold. But if you all were to get referrals unique to each other, you would each get your gift.
Hi. Basically you'd have to sign up to the freebie site (link in the description) and choose one offer to complete (click the 'offers' tab to view them all). Offers vary depending on where you live, but range from free to about £10. Then lastly refer 5 people to the same site, and once you've done that, you'll be able to order your iPod. Hope this helps.
There is a link in the description to a site that doesn't require credit card info. The most popular non-credit card offers are the realtone ones (receive one mobile realtone and that is your offer completed), but obviously the choice is yours. Hope this helps.
anyone can just wright on a box and hold up an ipod they bought fuck you lying dumbasses i even tryed it and they want me to give my credit card info to win a prize (mac notebook) im not doing that part but i did refer some people with there e-mails i better get somthing for taking the time to do that or ill send e-mails and post bulletens saying that this is bs
What site are you on? There are actually non-credit card sites/offers that don't ask for that information. And when you complete the site legitimately, you don't "win" a prize, you're guaranteed one. If you haven't completed an offer, you haven't completed the site, and therefore won't be receiving anything. This should all be in the Terms & Conditions of the site you're signed up to...
whats the catch though. Do you have to shop at the places you have signed up for? Does this scheme work in the UK. Thanks for any help. Is it a pyramind marketing scheme is disguise?
Hi there, there isn't a catch, you're basically just signing up to try one(1) of the offers, and then referring a few friends. You don't have to shop to participate as there are no-commitments offers that are completely free to try, or alternatively, others ranging from £1.99 - £10 if you prefer. It does work in the UK, and isn't a pyramid scheme, although it is a type of marketing (see my other videos for more info). Hope this helps. :-)
Yeah I used to think this too. It was only after a close friend of mine received her iPod that I decided to give it a go, and now I'm about to receive my third freebie from this company.
Hey this really works i tried it and got my ps3 a few days ago. Go to Xpango. com and type in 91036542 for your refferel code and you get 50 credits instantly! A PS3 costs 51 credits!
Don't trust this person! I'm not talking about the free deal, just the instant credits. I tried it in good faith and got zero credits, but they still got a credit for me joining.
Sorry to hear about that. If you think you've been scammed by BluesCluez01, you can report him/her to Xpango (using his/her referral code) for scamming and ask to have the credit he/she received from you removed. I know legit freebie sites like the one I use won't tolerate scamming for credit/referrals so I assume the same goes for Xpango. Good luck with your freebie.
This looks legit.
