It's spelled Jack Bauer for God's sake. If you need to complain about a fan film made in good faith, then at least know the character's last name.
Please, don't forget that Jack Bauer went to the University of California in Los Angeles. So just think of the story as a random college student thrown into a massive conspiracy.
