Love that bit from 2:09 to 2:13. It goes well with the sinister music, perfect for the conflicting thoughts one should have at this part of the game. Almost like the theme song for the denial of it: Wheatley was the partner, and that one little segment is almost like your dwindling hope that he's still the same friendly character, when he's now the exact opposite.

Shit's quite deep for a video game, if you ask me. Not a big gamer, but a big fan of profound originality.

If you know what's coming, you can see the signs...Wheatley's back-up plan is to turn you in to GLaDOS when he thinks you're stuck, he edges around everything that's wrong...there are so many problems, and this is just where it happened.

But really, in the end, all it is is a single moment. 1:13. You can hear the exact moment where something in him leaves, and where he isn't coming back.

@LemonatedOrange Even in the music. There are recurring themes in the entire soundtrack that represent the main characters, Wheatley, Glados, and the facility. They go together really well and appear in the proper soundtracks at the proper time. Listen to "reconstructing more science", the themes pretty closely represent the actual storyline of the game, with the dominant theme being the focus of the game at that point in time.

@randoguy101 The body is also what gives him the smarts to think of things like boob trapping the stalemate button room. Also, Glados slowly turns more human after being unplugged, it isn't instant, and at the end, she starts hearing her conscience. I'm not sure whether being unplugged makes Glados "dumber", as she has a thinking limit because of the potato power. However, that's what's implied. The facility, which is the body, is the real "evil" entity in Portal 2.
