The federal government DOES provide funding to PP. Ms. Bachmann is correct. The funding has been going on for many years, it was intended to help prevent teenage pregnancies, etc. Now PP is big business, is profitable, and does little or nothing to discourage abortions. Each one performed adds to its profit.
This video is BS. PP is a non-profit, just like all the churches and other politically-active institutions that some disagree with. Just because they are nonprofit does not mean they are getting tax money. She makes it sound like the government is paying PP, but in reality, PP is simply tax-exempt, like any other nonprofit.
Exactly what criminal activity is PP continually being investigated for? The only criminal activity I know of associated with PP are the nutjobs who shoot their doctors and the nutjobs like Bachmann who harrass their clients.
