The original SNL, God it was great to be a teenager in the '70s. I lived on a farm and would wait till 11:00pm to take the trash out and burn it in the 55 gallon drum we used for that. I'd toke out while the trash burned, then at about 11:25 i'd go inside, grab the munchies, and laugh my ass off for the rest of the night. Good times, good times.

I remember seeing this live as a kid. I hadn't seen the movie, but I thought Dan Akroyd's dancing was so hilarious - not to mention his low harmony. It was just so funny well he moved, but yet his moves were so rediculous.

I can play everything by the Blues Brothers...the original version and their versions on bass. Too bad I was born so late cause just like Jack White said:" same place, different time ? thats how I feel everyday." I would love to see some of the lengends playing live, like Calloway, Hendrix, Joplin, Skip James and others...

I was honored a few years ago by a friend who asked me to dress up like Jake he had a college project he had to do and he choose the Blues Bros i was shocked that after i did this and i can sing he got a perfct score his class bursted out and i ended up doing a mini-concert in front of 300 people we had a guy dress up like Elwood he was perfect he also played the harmonica he was great we went on and did several shows for the school and was asked to play other places it was a great time
