  • Following the most recent fire in which the Scenic Railway, the last 'tourist attraction' in Margate went up in flames last week to make way for hundreds of housing association flats - Thanet Council is to adopt a new advertising slogan: 'THANET - Home of the Insurance fire' and to celebrate the occasion they are considering twinning the town with Dresden and Coventry.
