I have this model and i just started using it yesterday. It now has an issue, the engine runs but the wheels wont turn and the gears wont work while its on. Could it be the universal drive joint? If it is how do you install one?

@ineedspeed27 there is a coupling that connects the rear drive shaft to the rear diff , it has an allen set screw if this is slack it wont move, and maybe like me one of your front axles is missing so the front wont move either, very cheaply put together

@Vilacious34 bro this guy is a fraud, the reason he don't show the radio is because its junk, i bought one from amazon, drove good the first day but apparently one of the front axles fell out duh and with no bashing, the next day the rear diff striped, i ordered the parts from eBay, my son watched this guy for weeks and begged me to buy it, redact pays this guy, i could imagine how much trucks he went through to make these videos, i had to use one of my spectrum boat remotes
@psoutzisrs axles (dogbones), glow plugs, and if you bash hard upper and lower suspension arms. also you will need air filter oil and after run engine oil helps your engine last longer
@psoutzisrs yeah the clutch is probably the problem i had the opposite problem with my tornado where the wheels would always spin even while idleing but it was just tuning problem so i would take it to a hobby shop where they deal with RCs and ask a pro

@deerhuntingboy101 I just bought my first nitro like 2 weeks ago and it was the volcano s30. I think the caldera is a 2 speed, and thats about the only difference. more parts to break on it i guess :) I got my s30 and love it! its fassssssst, but i'm also a noob :D
Ali, is it ok to run my volcano until it is dry of gas? and then spray a shot of wd40 into the carb and pull the starter a few times to spread it around?

I adjust the screw w/ the copper sleeve, that seems to make it lean or rich. I turned it so that it smokes a bit. now what else do i do?

The plastic rims are really "China Made" hope you can bring up this issue. 1 more negative thing about the SV was that the shocks would give up so fast.The washers in there are totally unreliable. Is it any better this time round? Looking forward to the bashing video.
@conradogt3 Volcano S30, more off roading power :D due to bigger tires and single speed, its much more controllable on off road terrains. plus its tough. i like tornado s30 for its on road sprint
can you gick up the new redcat racing vortex epx pro? it has almost gone through a toatal make over! i am itching to see one. if i cant see it then i will still be debating between a groundpounder and the vortex epx pro.
Is there any reason anyone should get Nitro now? Electrics have faster acceleration, better top speed, are way cleaner and require less maintenance and tuning. Like what advantage at all would those redcat nitro cars would have over Traxxas electrics such as rustler vxl or E-revo brushless electric cars?
@transferases electric drive for 10 minutes max, these can driver longer. Nothing beats the sound of engine and Smell or burning nitro. they are much more powerful from starting till the end of Nitro drop. Batteries die and eventually after few minutes you do not have top power. Batteries swell up in few runs. they need lots of time charging. Nitro just refuel and bash :D

hi my volcano s30 wont move. i thought it was the gearbox but i took it apart and checked and none of the gears appear stripped. what happenned?
