awesome man...is this the same snare as the "G-Maple" starclassic snares? just wondering because i've been wanting the "g-maple" one they have on the guitarcenter website...This is definitely a beasty snare
@wolverine114 the G-Maples had slightly thicker shells and were available up to 8"s deep. They are now no longer in production so TAMA started making their normal starclassic snares deeper too. This one is a regular maple starclassic and has the time-tested 5mm thin shell as opposed to the G-maple's 8mm.
@newcastledrumcentre Not sure if I'm right or wrong, but I think Tama still manufactures the G-Maple snare. I've seen a few different online stores who still sell it. It might just be because they have some left, but I really don't know. n
hey dude sounds awesome, do you know of any "tama starclassic maple snare 6.5 x 14 " I saw one in a shop and it sounds amazing. If you do plz message me a link! thanks

@XxStrongDrums1996xX some shops will definitely have some in, and distributors will no doubt be backlogged so they're still available.
