I would like to hear the studio audio and not the crappy camera audio. You know this actually has to sound magical in the studio. Look at the mics they are using... Matt is using a Neumann U47 for vocals and a Neumann U87 on guitar. Susanna is using a U67 for vocals and an AKG C14 on her guitar. The other guy is using a Neumann U47FET on vocals and a U87 on his guitar.

All people have to talk about is Matthew's weight. Sure he has gained a lot and would be healthier if he would lose some but he still can sing. I saw him in the early 90's in Charlotte, NC and he was great live. How many of the new bands really sound good live. The majority of new artists require a lot of help in the studio to make them sound good. I agree with Strat136. Music today is only about what the person looks like. I miss the days when the music was great and that's all that mattered. How many bands that are popular today will be around in 20 years. It's all about looks and style not the freakin music. Matthew looks different but I would rather listen to his music than any of the so-called great bands and musicians that we have today. He was definitely underappreciated. Susanna still sounds great too.

They weren't as big in America than they should've been, and they don't need a gimmick or any fluff in their music, it's straight up up-tempo pop/rock perfection. Matthew does look different, but who gives a damn. His voice, his playing, all bring back memories of his early to mid '90's career and all those great albums he gave to us. A great and underappreciated musician jamming with the talented Susanna Hoffs is something we are lacking in today's "mainsteam" music. Music today is commercial and sucks (American Idol bullshit), but folks like these are a reminder that there is wonderful music out there,waiting for us to discover.
