Love them since 1996 when I've heard Futile Future on a Mystic Art compilation CD. They've changed throughout the years, every time creating very impressive, ambitious music, but still my all time best is Visionnaire. With Alexis Phelipot and Jean Baptiste Boitel they were unique and created some of the most technical and sophisticated guitar/drum arrangements in metal music.

J'ai été déçu du peu de monde lors de leur dernière tournée pour un tel groupe

Il y a bien longtemps que je n'ai pas pris un tel pied à regarder le clip d'un groupe de métal français, une superbe mise en scène, les acteurs sont super crédibles et le groupe nous a pondu une compo qui est une véritable tuerie. Même si le français sonne souvent kitsch, notre bon vieux S.A.S de L'Argilière a su réconcilier le métal et la langue de Molière, chapeau bas.

Heureusement qu'il y a des groupes comme Misanthrope ou Gojira pour nous représenter à la face du monde.

misanthrope is a fantastic experimental band , my first conduct with their music was 15 years ago and all through those years they are always fresh with new ideas and surprises.

tip: you always need to listen a song 4-5 times to deeply understand what's going on , their musical themes are very complex and French not the easiest language to digest on metal.
