Charley was truly a great car person and human being. When he left Boyd's employment with not so much as a handshake from Boyd I was gutted for him. During the programmes Charley would work overtime and whatever else it took to get the car done. Remember when his dad passed away? He came back early to ensure the car was ready for the customer. I hope you are finding happiness and are getting the respect you deserve Charley. Dr Guy.
@tenodogblu I remember that, when he came earlier when his daddy passed away... I guess Boyd didn't remember that when Charlie said he was leaving him... I remember that Boyd said bad things to him... like "shut up" and all that stuff...I guess Boyd made his employees work like rent mule and Duane was a dick, too.
@GustavoMdeOliveira Hi Gustav, I really enjoyed the programme-we get it on Sky TV over here in the UK. I think I've seen all of the shows by now but still tune into the repeats from time to time. Charley was my favourite character, I like genuine, kind people and I think you could place Charley in that bracket. Happy holidys, Dr Guy UK, London.

I agree with you 100 percent, Charley is a real Humble person, He painted a 63 Dodge race car for me I believe he was something like 23 years old. They were 5 cars that he painted in the BOise Roadster show that year and every single one of them Including my 63 won awards. I won a 2nd place out of abut 15 cars in my class and I feel that was really good because the biggest share of my competitors was chebys. . He has a shop in Nampa Id, Now about a mile or so from my home.
you fu#@%^$cked Boyd
