the best way to to make humans is with LIDAR scanning.

then using high point moCap for the animation.

there really isnt another good substitute.

@GillianGerardSingh Why make humans in 3D, just use real ones... your friends... besides doing realistic humans in 3D is not something that can be explained in a comment or even a 10 hour long video... there's LOTS of things to know, and take care off. On big films they are the hardest to do and usually have a team of people working on it. So just make it easier for yourself and use real people instead
