It was also great how they played What a Wonderful World and Over the Rainbow. It was a very special night, but MAN it was cold! I was right in the middle of Times Square in front of Planet Hollywood, after securing the perfect viewing spot at around 2pm. It was tough, but worth it.

People are right though, the corporate nature of yesterday's celebration was pretty messed up. All the time switching over to the Nivea Kiss and Be Kissed Stage. And Toshiba only switched over to live images on its screen every hour for about 2 minutes, the rest of it being all one big Toshiba ad. And on the opposite side Samsung did the same. I was probably one of the only people who didn't wear one of those terrible blue Nivea hats.
