This may be an OK process for some gloves, but if you follow the advice of ALL of the high end glove makers from Rawlings to Wilson to Vinci etc., you'll see they do not recommend cooking your leather glove. Not to hate on your video (which actually was produced well) but it is important to get the truth out there.
Many glove makers use other methods - including steam to warm their gloves. We think our way is better, faster and safer. And you avoid the risk of getting water in places that may promote mold and damage critical interior laces.
Tanners Heat Treat is heat activated - plus, the warming process helps your glove's leather receive the Glove Break-in Treatment. We specifically recommend a CONVENTIONAL oven at 300 degrees for no more than 4 minutes. Your glove won't cook - it will get warm and become pliable - which will give you an ultra-fast way to get you glove game ready.
Thanks for your comment. You're right, we would never recommend that you "cook" your glove. And we especially want to underscore that you should never put your glove in a microwave oven.
