Justine caprured them to conduct expirements to see if she could love or not. She blinded all three of them and yada yada yada. My friends are obsessed with Amnesia and know everything about it.

That "demon" is actually a so called Brute. They are blind so obviously they can't hear you. Although their hearing is perfect. So if you run into one of those again, don'tmake any noises. However, you can hide (without making noises ofcourse) practically anywhere. Just an heads up.
