  • он запросто мог бы перейти в супертяжи и показать там в сумме за 470

  • He put up respectible superheavy numbers at 110kg in the 80's... outstanding

  • Go for it NFL players, take 1,000 years---take longer. Zak's best comp snatch and jerk tally a mere 22kg less than heaviest supers snatch 216.5 by Sypko and 266 jerk by Taranenko---just 24.7 pounds less per lift average by a much lighter man. He did 95.44% of the best lifts by top 2 supers. Zak's snatch was like Sagir's---appears both could have negotiated another 5kg.

  • It's the hair.

  • 20 Kg lead after the Snatch. Takes the Gold on his first Clean and Jerk.

Makes only four lifts and sets three World Records.

This has to be the best 4 for 6 day ever!

  • Zak started internationally as a 198 midheavy. Here he is in the 110 (242 lb) category, doing some absolutely mindblowing lifting. Those 205 (451 lbs) and 210 (462 lbs) snatches are some of the greatest lifts of all-time. Not to diss the big superheavy snatchers like Platchkov and Krastev, etc., but they outweighed Zak by 100 lbs, yet only lifted about ten lbs. more.

  • Why do Taranenko's and Krastev's records no longer count?

  • Too many big name lifters were testing positive for drugs. The International Weightlifting Federation was in serious danger of having weightlifting dropped from the Olympics. They had to do something big. So they threw out all of the old world records, established new bodyweight categories, and of course, tightened up the testing. It was meant to be a break from the old, dirty, drug-ridden past.

  • @silexent cuz some skinny bitch ass geeks in the olympic commitee who have never touched a barbell, decided to fiddle with the weight categories. So they decided to change the absolute records too. Makes sense, huh? ....

  • Классная у тебя подборка видео! Приятно посмотреть!

  • Just goes to show what can be accomplished on a diet of Vodka and Borscht.

  • Hulk Hogan can lift that with one hand.

Just a joke, guys. Please don't send me any hate mail. I'm just letting showing you the way the typical American thinks.

Zak's most badass moment was the 440 total at 100 kilos that he made when just 19 years old. That is only 5 kilos off Alexeev's legendary total from the Montreal Olympics. Zak's 440 included a 200 kilo snatch, the heaviest double bodyweight snatch EVER. Even the Hulkster couldn't pull that off!

  • he wasn't a superheavyweight (110+) he was only heavyweight (110) right? please correct me if i'm wrong... true or not this guy was a great lifter

  • Yes, here he is lifting as a 110 (242 limit). Absolutely stupifying.

  • absolute legend!

  • hey hes pretty fuckin GOod

  • actually Antonio Krastev has the heaviest snatch of all time at 216 kg.

  • Can any super snatch this much?

  • chigishev

  • Many of the top can do this much

  • greatest snatcher ever!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Boyish face. I imagine him sending someone across the floor who was dumb enough to start up with him. With strength like that, he didn't need karate.

  • i heard he missed a front squat of 245 kg only to clean and jerk it in this competition like the next day... i really doubt that... you must be able to at least double front squat your best clean and jerk!

  • well my front squat is only 2 kgs above best clean

pisarenko missed a 260 squat (as tol by kurlovich) and then cleaned it 5 days later

  • what a fuking beast!

20kg ahead of the next best after snatch!
