Dr. Evans is a dynamic speaker. He is articulate, deliberate, reserved. His thoughts are original. Though I do not subscribe to this brand of theology, I know he seeks counsel from the Lord. I know many of the things he espouses undoubtedly come from God.

Most modern day preachers are in lock-step with the neo-theology of heretics like Calvin. The Srcipture tells us to study to show ourselves approved unto God...a workman needs not be ashamed if he/she righty divides the Word of Truth. Dr Evans is a good communicator with good teaching on peripheral issues. On the gospel and salvation, however, he is dangerously flawed and antiscriptural. Read The Lying Promise to see that Evans has used the gospel to cloak Satan's lie - "Ye shall not surely die."

WHAT? Dr Evans is great on the gospel and salvation with the exception of his support of Once Saved Always Saved. That aside, he knows the scripture. I have heard him preach numerous sermons and disagree with him in certain areas. I can say for a fact that he is head over heels above motivational speakers like TD Jakes, Benny Hinn, Clepto, i mean Creflo, Dollar and others.

Read the "Open Letter to Tony Evans" at our website then, after learning all that he teaches, see if you still believe he's great on the basics. He teaches that unrepentant Christ rejectors, drug addicts and homosexuals can enter paradise--certainly not great teaching on salvation or the gospel.
