@905SONICking Blind is the amount of chips you put before even receiving your cards. The people sitting clockwise to the player with Dealer chip "D" have to pay before receiving their two whole cards. If blind is $2/$4 then 1st player after dealer pays $2 and the one next to him pays $4

@controverzo , the person to the left of the dealer puts in the small blind (example £2) the person to the left of the small blind puts in the big blind that is double the small blind (example £4)

This is so that if everyone folds or checks there is still some money in the pot.

also it gives you an amount to have to call (£4) if u wanna see the flop.

In the first betting round, he said that each player is required to at least call the big blind, but the big blind was 4 chips and the guy to the left of the dealer only put 2 on the table?
