There are the occasional accidents where large amounts of cannabis fall on people, also I'd be interested to know whether your alcohol stat takes into account vehicular related deaths for which cannabis does have some significant stats itself.

Sorry for being pissy about it, I just can't help myself. From a toxicological view though you are right, cannabis is in no way deadly to humans - it's a shame the same can't be said for caffeine??

Actually, Animal tests have revealed that extremely high doses of cannabinoids are needed to have lethal effect. This has led scientists to conclude that the ratio of the amount of cannabinoids necessary to get a person intoxicated (i.e., stoned) relative to the amount necessary to kill them is 1 to 40,000 In other words, to overdose, you would have to consume 40,000 times as much marijuana as you needed to get stoned In contrast, the ratio for alcohol varies between 1 to 4 and 1 to 10.

Yeah maybe for pure cannabinoids, but then lets face it cannabis is a much more complex beast than that. Also I'd have to to say having anything at those sorts of levels could be deadly, salt for example?

I'm trying to attend Oaksterdam University. The United States' first and only Cannabis College. I hope someday I can attend the one in Amsterdam before they shut it down. I also hope to start another one on the east coast someday and maybe even have a research and breeding facility on the Big Island of Hawaii. Save this plant, save our people, save our planet.
