  • Greatest sitcom ever!

  • they all look alike? 30yrs later , shit is still funny.. dam we aint moving forward at all.. thanks lil wayne ,kanye and company for setting us back another 30!

  • "Holy moly US!?" ....Loved that bit of genuine surprise from "D.D" as the inspector calls him,

  • *sigh* I miss Chano.

  • Thanks for sharing THIS, malieber67!

  • I really miss these characters.

  • the "scum" as the inspector calls him played a sleazy dude in GET SHORTY and a different sleazy dude in PAYBACK.

  • The pistol is a "Pepperbox". 5 rotating barrels, individually loaded, as opposed to a 5 shot cylinder rotating through a single barrel. From pre civil War era.

  • My alltime favourite "Cop" show.It only ever was on late on free to air TV here in Australia and is rarely repeated. This show,Taxi and Night Court were brilliant.

  • LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLO!!!!! today tv sucks!

  • It still hurts me to look at the opening titles of this show and see the World Trade Center shining in the sun...

  • @victoriaphibes Amen.

  • RIP Dietrich

  • The 'ol Inspector...."They blew up Foster, gunned down Kleiner." :)

  • @seeingthesigns Are you sure they did'nt blow up Kleiner and gun down Foster?

  • This type of show is not on TV today because the industry has become garbage. Simply disturbing and ridiculous. A sign of the times. Sites like Youtube might save the common minds from the abyss by having footage like this. I don't even turn to the network channels today, whether regular or cable TV. It's the worst.

  • I knew it.... that guy they arrested was Stegman from the movie 'Payback'.

You're not gonna fuckin kill me, are ya?

  • When I was a kid I loved shows like this, I don't even watch tv anymore because it's mostly garbage. Who'd thought it would turn out like it has.

  • Hey Ron.

  • Holy cow - I think I saw Max Gail at a protest against cat litter on You Tube - "Cats Against Clay". Could that be him?

  • Scum, Barney...lol

  • I love the way Inspector Lugar talked about his Dumont (a TV from the 50's and 60's and a very heavy bulky type at that) then they bring in a Sony 13 inch portable TV. Anybody out there remember Dumont TV's? How about Philco's?

  • My buddy is getting his Philco fixed. Collector's item.

  • I mostly use an HD set now, but I actually still have an old TV from the 70s sitting in storage. That was the TV my parents put in my bedroom, and I kept that thing. I recently hooked up one of those digital to analog converter boxes to that thing just to see if the thing still works, and it does.

  • @johnissoevil I haven't botheredwith HD or 3D gimmick TV because my eyes aren't capable of appreciating HD.The older style tvs still work fine and there is plenty of other things to waste my cash on.

  • I've seen it on here before but it does'nt come up now when I search for it.

  • Where's the Hash Brownie episode?

  • The "punko" Luger drug in is none other than David Paymer. Very cool...

  • Do they still make sitcoms? I haven't watched tv in a while but I thought it was all reality shows and dramas now.

  • klassik 70's hit show ....today i don't watch tv.

  • This type of show would never, ever be on TV today. It does not fit with the culture. Not by miles.

  • its a comedy moron

  • My statement still stands, dumbshit.

Comedies like this would not exist today.

Get it? Read it slowly, twice if necessary, to comprehend.

  • you see the rest of whats posted here why are you here to put down somthing that was popular in the 70's knucklehead the 70's COMPREHEND

  • Put down? I am PRAISING IT you stupid faggot.

You can't even read - so how can you comprehend a show like BM?

    Buttshit.

  • whats with the name calling what are you 12 , and you got a funny way of praising somthing

  • Does anyone remember an episode with an Amish guy in it? That was one funny story. Would looove to see it again.

  • I love Steve Landesberg as Dietrich! "Hey I'm Still New!" Hehe

  • I wish you could post some episodes of Barney Miller with Jack Soo playing Nick Yemana, from 1975 until 1979, he was on the show until 1979, I'd like to see those episodes on YouTube.

  • Type in "Barney Miller Hash". I just watched this classic episode where Wojo's girl gave him a bunch of brownies. He brought them into the precinct for everyone. They had hash in them. Hilarity ensues. Yemana, high on hash, sings! A great episode.

  • Check the IMDB website. Sony has released about 60+ episodes from the early seasons. I believe you have to be register with IMDB before you can view the videos, but the registration and viewing are free.

  • I wish you would post the Barney Miller episodes that had Jack Soo's character of Nick Yemana on the episodes he was on before Jack actually died, I LOVED the character of Nick Yemana.

  • That's the one I was looking for.

  • Uh... the episodes Jack Soo was on 'before Jack actually died'? Were there episodes with Jack Soo in them AFTER Jack Soo 'actually died'?

  • just great, forever and ever

  • simply brilliant. thanks for posting. i believe the guy being arrested is being played by David Paymer who was in Ocean's Thirteen, Mr Saturday Night, City Slickers, Crazy People, etc. wouldn't have recognized him but his voice is quite distinctive.

  • outstanding lol

  • ...my favorite sit-com in all of televisions great history; and I've never seen this one...thanks.

  • Thanks so much for posting this. This was one of mine and my mom's favorite shows. It's a classic. They don't make em like this anymore.

  • You guys rock I love this show! Thanks for posting :)
