Passover is really not a response to the Christian holiday of Easter, but really Easter is a fulfillment of Passover and of all of Judaism. Why is Jesus not the Jewish Messiah? I am Jewish, and I believe He is.

Well, I am glad that you pointed that out. That is certainly what is taught by not only the rabbi's, but culture itself. But the biggest problem with Judaism now is that there is no temple. As Jews, how can we atone for our sins without a blood sacrifice? Well, doesn't it make sense that Jesus would be that blood sacrifice? Also, even in Passover, there are examples of how Jesus is the Messiah. The afikomen in the matza tosh is broken, hidden and then brought out again. Why is this?

(cont.) The word afikomen itself is a Greek word, not a Hebrew word. This does not make sense, except that Greek was the dominant language in the first century when Jesus was here on Earth. There are three pouches in the matza tosh; some rabbi's say, it represents Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, others say no, it represents the three ways of worship in the Temple. But it makes more sense that it represents the Trinity and that the middle pouch, the Son, was killed and then rose again.

I think we all should because Jesus lives and He loves all of us and wants to have a relationship with us.
