I love how Simon sort of thumbs his nose at the cliche of the emaciated, dark & brooding prettyboy rock and roll front man, without in any way making their music seem like a joke. He has crooked teeth and isn't about to fit into size 0 leather trousers, but damn if he doesn't come off as a rock star on par with Keith Richards or Jim Morrison.
