Cats can be difficult at slow speed. A skipper should know his boat period. If the pennant was run to the stbd auma in the first place then 1 person, man or woman could pick it up and run the pennant line through. This bullshit about women on boats is just hiding a deeper issue for some of these sad men. You don't want your wives and girlfriends on board underway? Put them on my boat. I'll take GOOD care of them. They'll also be able to sail circles around most folks in a week.

I have only been boating for a year and I can bring our boat up to a buoy in even rather rough sea and still pick it up first time. The way they were all struggling it looked like they were trying to pull the whole thing off the sea bed!
