how to hook up your computer to a projector or extend to another screen

Go to your devices: find syncmaster icon or whatever your scond monitor icon is. right click on it. Click on Display Settings. It shows icons of your main computer and your minotor,. Just click on the monitor and drag it to the left side of the other. This will change it to extend left. Yay!

Hey I have a windows 7 computer and when I selected extend it made my computer go all black, it hasn't changed since and I've tried restarting it and everything. What should I do?
