@lillysgirl2007 I am 64 years old now. But that song brings back so many old memories. 1964 was a long time ago. And two years later I was in the Army and headed to Vietnam. Seems like that war changed everything......especially for me.

It always seams to me that all the female singers of the sixties COULD sing!

The female singers today try vocal gymnastics but miss the point of actually carrying a tune.

And where do you get to hear sweet sounding backing singers today?

Here in Britain alone in the 60s we were spoilt for choice with girl-singers ; Maureen Evans, Sandie Shaw, Cilla Black, Marianne Faithful, Kathy Kirby, Susan Maugham, Dusty Springfield, Petula Clarke, Lulu, Julie Rogers, Alma Cogan etc etc, there were so many and good singers too. But slowly the rock bands took a strangle-hold on the music scene and the girls got relegated but not forgotten !!
