I knew there was a reason I've kept all those scanners and printers! It used to be that just about any printer on a chuck out pile would have stepper motors but these days they put normal inductive motors in and use an optic sensor and a strip of finely spaced lines.

@antoine5612 I wrote a simple python script that loads a SVG file, extracts the path, computing bezier curves and so, and then it uses Bresenham to walk thought the path and sends the positions to the CNC
