I believe the next Assassins Creed will be set during the American Revolution as one of Desmond's ancestors near upstate  New-York.

The time of the American Revolution has been mentioned in some of Subject 16's crazy puzzles from both Assassins Creed 2 and Assassins Creed Brotherhood!

Having Desmond's next ancestor in America would fit snuggly into why he is American of course as well! Lol.

To see how the world was save, and to find the remaining Pieces of Eden. Even after the world is saved, The Templars will still be after the pieces for control over the world. The apples of Eden thing confused me. Templars founds the one from the first game, Ezio pulled one out of a statue in Rome near the Vatican with eagle vision.
