World of Color Officially Opens at Disney California Adventure Park

Its a huge water show that uses sophisticated fountains, lights, lasers, fire, and animation projected on water. Its really awesome and its only at Disney California Adventure. :-)

The dancers were used as inspiration for programming the fountains. Since the fountains are considered the "actors" of the show. :-)

@marleyjay01 yea thts exactly what i thought of, in your opinion do you think theyre going to do anything to fantasmic in Disney World to get it up to speed with this, or just keep it as is, because it just looks awesome, and since disney world has even more room they couldve probly put something even bigger than this, but this looks really awesome.

@08WSChamps hey so sorry i took 5 months to reply, i didnt noticed. lol. this looks really sweet and fantasmic is pretty awesome too. as for fantasmic im pretty sure it will stay as it is because even though they have the space to expand it, fantasmic is hollywood studios costliest show, $ 25,000 they only keep it running twice per week. world of color seems to be designed to boost nightime attendance at california adventure so im pretty sure fantasmic will stay as it is... cheers!

@08WSChamps ...also, they dont have the capital for it, the pixar land at studios was scrapped as well as that new monsters inc ride at studios, so they might not do anything to it at all. me thinks.. cheers!

@marleyjay01 wait what was pixar land? do u mean the attraction where you could watch them as they drew n created the animation to pixar movies and cartoons? b/c i was in some attraction in 2000 in studios and they said they may buy speed racer enterprise, i saw an artist loooking at a mach 5 and was actually making cels of it. have no clue if thts the same attraction, and what would tht have to do w/fantasmic?

@08WSChamps hollywood studios, like the other parks, is divided in lands, streets of america, pixar place, backlots, etc etc etc. pixar place was supposed to 'swallow' backlots where the current atraction, backlot tour is to make way to build the massive, monsters inc ride. but they shelved it because of lower guests, lower spending, economic crisis this and that. what i meant with fantasmic is that just like with the pixar expansion they are not about to start investing money again.

@08WSChamps hahahahaha they're cheap but always manage to evolve. guess we'lle have to wait and see if that rumored villains inspired 5th theme park is going to be built afterall. harry potter is really taken off and they raised their tickets to 100 per person plus everythings going up in prices. i dont think the companies future will be bad but as far as the grandiosity of their expansions ins the 90's with the hotel and animal kingdom, i dont think so, least for another 20 years

@marleyjay01 wow theyre thinking of a 5th park, shit i remember hearin a rumor but i never thought they would with the huge expansion of fantasy/toon town in the magic kingdom, but i guess nethings possible with disney. and yea the 90s was a boom era for everytone. it was so much fun, especially how they had live show @ floridas universal studios. but anyway yea i agree if the economy straightens up i think disney may go all out within 20 yrs. i just hope they dnt go all 3d and shit n turn in2..

@marleyjay01 a virtual reality world lol, which they wont. but it'd be nice to see a 5th theme park. i really dnt like how the new ownership is moving farther from walts original ideas which were way better, and killing evey new show/cartoon theyre producing, some rides theyre replace or refurbishing suck. for ex spaceship earth in epcot was striped of everything imo. theres less lasar lights n so many other things missing, i think u know wat i mean and i hate lilo n stitch so stupid lol
