@dirtyru1984 plug ur left and right cables in the mpc (input slots) and on ur keyboard (if its one with built in sounds) plug the left and right into the (output) slots.
now depending on how many bars u got set on the mpc is how long u play for while recording on the mpc. best get a drum track down first then hit MODE - RECORD set it to mono hit PLAY/START on mpc and DO IT and start playing. once its done hit DO IT, go back to sequencer and rec and hit the pad u assigned it to, hope this helps
hey man, look, i write alot and I mean alot of rymes, r n b, and just rap, and songs, and I am ALWAYS on youtube looking for beats, and man I really like urs like all so far, from what I have seen. nice work, hit me up...plz an thnk u, ltr
There is nothing wrong with this beat man Its sick like all the rest...keep it up (check yo inbox at the top) there is one from me about some serious stuff....peace out
gt a midi keyboard, mpc 500, korg tr-rack. jus wanna record on separate tracks with different instruments.but everytime i make a recording on one track, i change the instrument and the recorded sequence changes.
in track 1 (mpc) program off. then scroll to MIDI channel and choose 1. then on your tr rack go to MIDI channel and change that to 1. then for the next track do the same thing but change the midi channel to 2. u can do this for 16 MIDI channels
(im not sure if this works cuz i dont have any sound modules)
well by hooking up the triton to the mpc allows me to control the triton from my mpc. for example, i can press play or record on my mpc and the triton will play or record. the advantage of using midi (in this case) is...say i had some tone generator modules. by hooking up the tone generator to my triton enables me to play the sounds on the tone generator but i will still be able to control everything from my mpc.
i think that midi makes it easier to record with multiple pieces of equipment.
how will someone see this video and dislike it..........i still wonder how........

what about the xr 20 can i use the sounds from my keyboard on the xr 20 from akai if it has midi in and outputs?
Clownblaster 2 years ago
if you connect it through midi, your xr20 would just be controlling the sequencer of the keyboard

you are aware that the TR rack is refering to the Trinity and not at all related to the triton which the TR keyboard is right?

LusciousP 2 years ago
when you want to record sounds from your sound module then (on the mpc) go to program assign, then off. then just record normally

i see your triton and mpc are hooked up with midi cables,,,now i never understood why? as midi dont carry "sound" only infmatn and data.
why bother hooking up that cable?
whats the advantage of using midi?
