  • so George Wallace had nothing to do with Nixon becoming president?

  • Keep the Obama cheerleading going Cenk! Close those eyes to your leader you sheep!!

  • If you don't want the repeal of Healthcare reform, you have to vote for the President. The exchanges and many other benefits don't come online until 2014.The Republican's can still overturn the law if they have both houses of Congress and the Presidency. Filibuster won't work because they can use reconciliation with just 51 Senators. If the President wins, at least he can veto there attempts to kill the reform. You have to vote for the President, the Republicans are 10X worse.

  • @VictorphoenixDMvault I'm not voting for Obama. To think that he would do "better" in a second term is just insane.

  • America needs more parties. Problem solved

  • There is a flaw with Joe's rationale that we MUST elect Obama. I'd rather flip the House, Senate, and other representative bodies of the states across the country than simply sell out for Obama. Obama is one man. Let's get progressives elected everywhere rather than worry about what one guy can do for us. That is what Republicans did and now we have batshit crazy rightwing laws being enacted all over the country.

  • Obama is not a Progressive, end of story. I'm voting Grayson/Wiener in 2012. I'm all for a grass roots Progressive movement though, we need one.

  • Hardwiring kicked in at "Red vs Blue"

this started playing in my mind: watch?v=LlWOl6onHoo

Yes. I am a nerd. So sue me.

  • Sirota was spot on!

  • @jibsmokestack1 I agree totally.

  • If the Republican candiate is Ron Paul all progressives should vote for him. At least you know he'll legalize marijuanna and end the wars.

  • 'progressives...we are terrible organisers..'

Truest thing I have ever heard, just look at this economy...

  • Cenk brown nosing the president and white washing his failures as usual...

  • David Sirota is always sharp in his criticism. Its great.

  • Obama didn't deliver as much as was promised. I'm still voting for him, because there is only one other alternative and I don't want a republican. Especially if it might be named Trump.

  • I can't believe he's still saying yes we can.... what a dope!

  • I used to fill in for Joe back in Washington a long, long time ago - on his wife.

  • @Solareffects sadly who the fuck else are we gonna vote for?

  • Obama or a republican well at least I don't have to worry about taking time to vote next year.

  • we are not killing anyone hahaha "look under the hood" I like that I like that.

  • "remember 2008" how fucking pathetic. not remember what i did to help the country, but how I got elected. eat a bag of dicks Obama. yes im gonna vote for you, i dont have much of a choice. But still, suck it!

  • I don't want to vote for Obama because he's spineless but I don't want to vote for a republican either because I have a heart and care about others (excluding the rich).

    What do I do?

  • @a1q2s3 Write in a name....if enough people do that it will send a big message.

  • @jallison79 I see where you're coming for but keep in mind a vote not for Obama is a vote for the winner (who will in any other case be a republican) I simply can't live with that...

  • Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

  • "We are terrible organizers". Uh huh, so those tens of thousands of people in Madison got so much media coverage, as opposed to the media spotlight on Sarah Palin and her couple thousand attendees the other weekend.

Oh wait, Palin got all the coverage. The MSM put a lid on anti-Walker demonstrations.

  • @audadvnc The problem with THAT statement, is that if this turn-out was there in November 2010 for Barrett, there'd be no such thing as an "anti-Walker" demonstration in 2011. That's what frustrates me about my brothers and sisters on the left. They don't seem to take elections seriously until a conservative gets in and drives a bus over them.

  • I don't care about the 2008 campaign, I'm not even a Democrat. I like the President's message and his speeches. But I don't like that he says one thing and does the opposite, and seemingly gives away the store on every proposal.

The Democrats represent one face of the Janus that is America's Plutocracy. It doesn't matter whether you vote Dem or Repug, the Plutocracy wins. And you lose.

  • David Sirota wasn't an Obama supporter to begin with.

    He endorsed John Edwards.

And the guy on the right just likes Obama because he is black.

I want real objectiviy and fast...

  • @TOTCD Typical racist statement, you don't know what he is thinking. What the black guy is trying to say is that if the left keeps surrounding Obama with negativity, more and more of you are going to just not vote. This gives the Republicans a better chance of getting there car crash candidate in. What you need to do is get out there and put the pressure on Obama, making it easier for him to make decisions.

  • @zebbedi Okay man. I agree with you xcept for the racist statement. I'm actually black lol. And the black guy sounded objective in the beginning. Then he said progressives can't organise? What? They seemed fine in '08. I don't like Sirota at all. He is acting like the president didn't do anything good. How about avoiding another great depression?! Everyone seems to forget that. Health care will only kick in in 2014. Obama still has 18 months stop acting like his term is over
  • @TOTCD Ok I retract my accusation and I agree with your second statement.

  • @zebbedi I'm glad we could agree friend

  • @TOTCD Typical racist statement, you don't know what he is thinking. What the black guy is trying to say is that if the left keeps surrounding Obama with negativity, more and more of you are going to just not vote. This gives the Republicans a better chance of getting there car crash candidate in. What you need to do is get out there and put the pressure on Obama, making it easier for him to make decisions.

  • @TOTCD Okay and that goes for the whites that like Obama as well?

  • @harr77 the thing is Cenk and Sirota don't get it .

Critisizing the president is one thing.

But when he does sthg good they don't say it out loud.

If you follow TYT every day like I do you'll notice.

People will back away from him and nothing will get done.

    Instead of doing that.

Why don't TYT interview someone that is in the Obama administration.

Or MSNBC and ask real questions.

And ask them about those polls he always talks about.

Obama campaigned on change , it doesn't happen in a year

  • lolumad. Problem here, liberals, is that there are more than just liberal democrats in Congress. How is he going to pass these things with Republican votes?

  • That black guy is a fucking leftie? Seriously? All he did was bash progressives!

He's a "love Obama no matter what guy", that's what he is.

  • Sirota pretty much released the Kraken on that clown

  • So why are new foreign wars, tax cuts for the rich, and spending cuts in for the poor just fine and dandy as long as there is a Democrat in the White House?

  • Obama is a corporate shill, and it embarrasses me that I bought into this charm. When I speak to my Republican mates now and they give me the "I told you so", I have no ammo. Obama is a terrible president, but me and my Republican mates disagree on why.

That is the thing... Obama trying to please both sides now has no one on his side. The only ones still supporting him are the ones that still buy into the novelty of having a black president.

  • @ijustwannawatchshite Man I'm getting kind of tired of this.

How is Obama doing such a bad job?

He's not getting an A that's for sure.

    But has he truly failed?

I think you have to admit that it's just peer pressure.

You want to say Obama is a terrible president because people say he is.

Or am I wrong? I'd really really like to debate with you on this

  • where's candidate Weiner ?!?!?!?

  • He's so disgusting, trying to joke away his deceit. Fuck Obama and anyone voting for him again is a damn fool.

  • Obama never said he would end the wars... he said that he would get out of Iraq and STEP UP Afganistan... the 'end the wars' candidates Paul and Kucinich were banned from the debates... lets see if the same happens to Johnson...

  • shortly after Obama won the election, he said "you (the amercan people) will have to push me to get these things done" We, by organizing and pushing an agenda, create political clout that Obama can use to get the things done that we all want. We've not given him much push to date. Let's all PUSH, and help get things going.

  • Man i really like David Siorta he actually put my feelings towards Obama in words. Thnx dude, now i know what to say when i'm asked about Obama.

  • Just STFU obama

  • SIROTA IS THE SHIT

  • Obama works for the bankers, what a fucking sellout.

    Wiener 2012!

  • Obama ain't no MLK

  • @fleammm MLK was never an elected official. There's a difference.

  • @amboyace well of course theres a difference bro, that was the point of my comment. And I understand people who aren't in politics can act diffferently and can be bolder, but MLK would have been bold if he was a senator, Obama is not bold

  • @fleammm Give me an example of this "boldness." MLK was a civil rights leader/activist who marched AGAINST the government's policies. President Obama represents the top of Government. He cannot march against himself. Second, Obama's a pragmatist. He gets stuff DONE. What are these so-called Progressives like David Sirota doing besides shilling books and making money whining?

  • @amboyace Gets stuff done, like pulling out of Iraq and Afghanistan, real economic reform, ending torture, getting rid of the bush tax cuts, stimulating the economy. All those things he was going to do, but i guess according to you he gets so much done. I don't hate Obama, but in terms of a leader with strong ideals he falls so short of others, like MLK. Obama doesn't get that much done, he compromises and caves, whereas a true leader stands firm on issues of extreme importance. gtfo obamabot

  • @fleammm No. 4: Extend child tax credits and marriage-penalty fixes

No. 16: Increase minority access to capital

No. 33: Establish a credit card bill of rights

No. 36: Expand loan programs for small businesses No. 48: Close the “doughnut hole” in Medicare prescription drug plan

No. 51: Require insurance companies to cover pre-existing conditions

No. 58: Expand eligibility for State Children’s Health Insurance Fund (SCHIP)

  • @amboyace look i overall like Obama, but you have to admit that he has been soft on several issues and did not meet several of his campaign promises. I think overall we agree. One more thing is you can't go and give him real credit for plans passed and created by congress. While it is called obamacare, the medical reform was done almost entirely by congress andthe president didn't even really weigh is to say what he believed in, that was bad leadership.

  • @fleammm So you're finally admitting that a President can only really accomplish what Congress legislates? If that's the case, then what does MLK have to do with your argument?

  • @fleammm 2nd, you're mad at Obama for signing into law something you don't consider strong enough, when other Presidents for the past CENTURY couldn't sign ANY Universal healthcare plan into law. Obama succeeded where most Presidents since Teddy Roosevelt failed. Yet...you're attacking Obama for being "soft" and "not getting much done." As COMPARED TO WHOM?

  • @amboyace I think obamacare is the greatest social accomplishment since HIVE, I really like what Obama helped do with that. Its the other issues, like torture, like taxes, bad negotiations, still being at war, status quo energy policy and bad fiscal policy that I insult obama for

  • @fleammm Obama is AGAINST torture. What are you talking about? If you believe that Obama should've allowed ALL Bush tax cuts to expire (including the poor and middle class) and allow the Republicans to deny unemployment benefits, then say so. My bet is, progressives would be the first ones crying that "Obama abandoned the poor, middle class and the unemployed!"

  • @amboyace Bush tax cuts did not really help the poor and middle class and were targeted at the rich. And my i remind you on the campaign trail he said that he would absolutely not allow them to continue so. And for torture, Obama is only against tortue in public, in reality we still have the secret prisons and torture is stil rampant, it is still a major problem and a little research shows that it still occurs under his administration. I have blocked you so don't respond, obamabot

  • I love David Sirota's expression as Mr. Madison talks about the second term.

  • When Progressives Attack

  • @oolong2 lol

  • Vote for yourself people.

  • Voting 3rd party, even if it us just a protest vote, will let our leader know we do not agree with the job they are doing.

  • Liberals ORGANIZED Obama's ass into the White House, We organized control of all Three branches of government aT one time with a MOTHER FUCKING MANDATE.

The audacity of calling us bad organizers is enough, all by itself, to say WTF , no more Obama and his phony ilk.

  • @Textynn Stop it. Obama had to receive MORE than just liberal votes because only 20% of the population identifies as "liberal." He received the African American vote, the Hispanic-American vote, the Gay & Lesbian vote and the Youth vote. A COALITION, and not just "your friends."

  • @amboyace Ur point??

  • @Textynn My point is that no ONE branch of the Democratic coalition calls ALL the shots.

  • @amboyace They're most all a bunch of sold out whores on both sides of the aisles. Obama has given us right wing legislation and works for the same elite as the Repubs , as do most of the Wall Street dems

  • Gitmo stays open, financial reform is incredibly weaksauce, Obama escalates the war in Afghanistan, Obama killed the public option, Obama agrees to cutting taxes for the rich and to the spending cuts.

  • @lukegreen37 I agree with gitmo and the public option.

But wasn't the Bush tax cut extension a comrpomise for the New Start treaty? Why does everyone including Cenk keep forgetting that?! Obama actually said that he would focus more on afghanistan and pakistan.

Watch his debates in the democratic primaries.

spending cuts? So reducing the deficit to make sure we don't owe more money to foreign lenders who don't have america's interest at heart is not an option?

  • @lukegreen37 If there wasn't 60 votes in the Senate for the Public Option, there was NEVER going to be a public option. Joe Lieberman, Ben Nelson, Mary Landrieu and Blanche Lincoln were NEVER going to vote "Yes". NEVER. They're on the Record saying so. Health reform would've died in the Senate if a Public Option was insisted upon, and those without access to Health insurance/care would continue to die at a 46,000 a year clip. Is that the result you REALLY wanted? Self-righteous DEFEAT?

  • @lukegreen37

Obama signed an executive order to CLOSE GITMO on January 22, 2009--two days after he was inaugurated. TWO DAYS AFTER HE WAS INAUGURATED.

Google it. It was CONGRESS that ran around fraidy scared to relocate the detainees on American soil. Stop blaming OBAMA for not closing GITMO when you had a Congress afraid to act. That's where the PRESSURE should've been. Your CONGRESS was against closing GITMO, not Obama. Same with Financial Reform. CONGRESS. CONGRESS. CONGRESS.

  • Obama, the biggest liar on the face of the planet. Hopefully you fairy libs don't cry if he gets re-elected and run through the streets like retards.

  • @pennjersey83 Well, that's exactly what I plan to do if that war mongering, corporate state puppet, wall street suck up gets reelected.

  • @pennjersey83

    Shove it, you fascist prick.

  • @rmar67

Vote for Obama. Change that will never happen.

  • Obama failed us. Not voting for him.

  • @DoctorCataclysm

    What were you expecting?

    hahaha

  • @braydenbeautiful Not Bush 2.0

  • @DoctorCataclysm

Dude, your political system is broke. The parliamentary system is the only democratic system with any hope of being of any use. He's just the head, and the body is rotten.

You didn't get Bush 2.0, you got the byproduct of a failed political system. I don't mean to be be blunt with you, but I can't foresees any president rocking the boat more than Obama. This is about as good as it gets, and I'd be willing to bet on that.

    Art of the possible.

  • @braydenbeautiful I know our political system is broken. With a few exceptions, (Ron Paul, Anthony Weiner, Dennis Kucinich, etc) the entire thing has been bought out by companies.

We did get Bush 2.0, he has almost exactly the same policies. The only difference is that Bush didn't have to please Obama's "base". In fact, only now that 2012 is looming has Obama showed spine. His passed history was inaction, folding, or giving the GOP even more than what they were asking for.

  • @DoctorCataclysm

The corruption wasn't my point (although a valid one). I'm saying the system should have been fixed decades ago (but everyone got wound up with the cold war) to closer resemble a parliamentary system.

You're wound up in politics. The day to day tit for tat. There's nothing wrong with that; better informed than not. However, you need to have realistic expectations. That is not to say don't fight for change, but be realistic what'll get: a bush 180 is not likely

  • @braydenbeautiful I think that's pessimistic. Change can't happen unless you believe it can. That said, I'm no lemming, if I see one leader not working out; fire him. That goes for anyone in office.

Our system would be a thousand times better if we got rid of the corporate interests that have sprouted like weeds in my government. The system works, it has only been allowed to become corrupted.

  • @braydenbeautiful The system's ALWAYS been "corrupt." It's been "corrupt" since the Roman Empire. Only a fool expects to get a messiah when he or she casts a vote.

  • @DoctorCataclysm who else you gonna vote for? in your failiure of a political system you have no choice

  • @IHalfies The political climate is changing in America. People are waking up and the two party system will be a thing of the past. Until then, I'm going to vote for who ever's pile of shit smells the least.

  • @DoctorCataclysm or is it you who've failed yourselves...

  • @Scrag06 No, I'm pretty sure that it's Obama who is the POTUS.

  • @DoctorCataclysm

What President in History hasn't? Think hard now....

  • @amboyace JFK, FDR, Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, Jackson, T. Roosevelt, Adams. Others depend on your political leanings.

  • @DoctorCataclysm JFK--failure on Civil Rights and a deviant in his personal life. FDR--failure on Civil Rights, Interned Japanese-Americans and was attacked by liberals at the time for watering down Social Security and being in the pocket of bankers. Jefferson was an elitist slave owner who sired at least 6 illegitimate children with his underaged slave girl, Sally Hemmings. Lincoln suspended habeus corpus in violation of the Consitution. cont'd...

  • @amboyace I never said that they didn't have faults. I just said they were good presidents.

  • @DoctorCataclysm con'td...Google the Brownsville Incident for deeper insight. Which Adams? John or John Quincy? You can find faults with everybody who ever walked the planet...Presidents are not excepted.

  • Well Augusto Pinochet is doing a pretty shitty job as our president, but the opposition is Hitler so I guess we'll just have to put up with it. Two party systems are awesome.

  • OMG a politician, full of shit? If you are surprised you were tricked. If you are still hopeful, you're a sucker.

  • tcdowning, so you were picketing outside Sen. Joe Lieberman's offices after he openly declared he'd vote AGAINST any bill with a "public option" in it, therefore eliminating any chance of that bill getting past the GOP filibuster (because NONE of them would vote for ANY health care bill?) Or do you just say "it's Obama's fault for not "fighting hard enough" like Sirota suggests?

  • @amboyace they had options they didn''t take and they sure as hell can't explain that fascist garbage that Baucus and the Health care industry cooked up with the Heritage Foundation. No sale on that argument.

  • @Textynn Baucus is a DEMOCRAT. He's one of the 60 Senate votes we needed to get ANY bill passed. You act like we had 60 "progressive liberal" Democrats in the Senate. If we had 35 that's saying a lot. That's why progressives tick me off. You'd all rather lose, get nothing and act righteous than get anything reasonable accomplished.

  • @amboyace I don't care . the Dems and the Repubs both work for the elite. Baucus is a back stabbing scum ball that sold out this country to the oppressive sick greedy medical health care industry. I will boycott MT forever and never spend a cent there. Everything thing they (Dems AND Repubs) did during the heath care debate was an underhanded lie to serve the uber rich at the cost of the masses. Would you let me give your house to Rockerfeller for a pat on the head. Grow the fuck up.

  • @Textynn "I don't care"....basically sums up progressive whiners and the professional left.

Apparently you and that crowd "don't care" about the 46,000 Americans who die every year because they don't have access to adequate health care, or the 50 million plus who don't have a chance to get coverage, and instead wait for Jesus to return to create a nationwide single payer system. If I need to "grow up"....you need to WAKE UP.

  • @amboyace I don't care that Baucus is a Dem. I do care about the 59 million Americans w/o health care and because of many Dems, single payer was killed. Phony Obama didn't lift a finger for universal care after he got what he wanted and his and Baucus's sick health care legislation is designed to keep the shift of wealth in place. Yes there are a few good Dems, but most are as sold out as the Rethugs. Im not voting for Obama and I think most of the Dems are a bunch of turn coat rightwingers.

  • @Textynn Again...Nationwide Single Payer was NEVER gonna happen. NEVER. You couldn't get Single Payer out of committee, much less a vote on the floor of the Senate OR House. That's REALITY. There was NEVER a progressive or liberal majority in either the Senate OR House. Second, if you watched ANY of the 20 or so debates with Obama, Clinton and the other Democratic candidates, the only guy advocating single payer was Kucinich, and he's never come CLOSE to winning a primary.

  • @amboyace Obama led people to believe that he was for a socialized health care, that until he was elected. I watched all his debates and read every single thing he said during his campaign, so Im talking about what I know. He even brought his dead mama into the convo. It was the 60 percent majority that wanted this that got Obama elected. He took something super popular and needed and pretended to be for it. He's a lying ass. Most all dems and Repubs are elite knob suckers.

  • Joe Madison is such condescending asshole - like liberals/progressives don't understand the basics of politics. Notice how he even talks slow when he is trying to describe how the government works? What an ass!

  • @tcdowning666 He talks and shames us like children but then offers no other argument. The course of tyrants who cant' be bothered with a legit argument. Couldn't have been more damning. Continues the total underlying liberal retards" theme

then Madison blabs that liberals can't organize. We ORGANIZED Obama's ass into the White House, We organized control of all Three branches of government aT one time with a MOTHER FUCKING MANDATE.

And he took all that and gave us slave yokes from the HCI

  • NO HE CAN'T

  • Joe Madison is absolutely correct. Rich progressives don't give a fig about health care reform, and how to get 60 votes in the Senate (which is required now to get ANYTHING ACCOMPLISHED.) They just whine like impetuous children if they don't get their way. Then, when they don't get their way, the demoralize the left electorate so that they don't come out to vote and what does that get you? Scott Walkers, Rick Scott's and Paul Ryan Budget plans.

  • @amboyace BINGO

  • HOORAY FOR SIROTA!!!

  • Obama hasn't shown any ability to complete the transaction or that he has any inclination to even begin a transaction that could not be begun by Bush-lite.

  • @tcdowning666 hey liberal, tell us all what Obama hasn't done for you

  • The right has nothing to do with how shitty a President Obama has been

  • @tcdowning666 it a huge factor in how shitty he's been lol.

  • I GUARANTEE YOU - I won't be making calls and knocking on doors this time. Not a chance in hell.

  • @tcdowning666 oh stfu liberal

  • How the hell can the President possibly have 70% approval from self-identified liberals??? 99% of those repsondents obviously have not a clue what liberal means or who liberals are!

  • There is no way he has been frustrated like I have been! My frustration is disillusionment that I helped elect George W Bush II

  • Obama is starting to sound like a clown.

  • Lol, Obama back on the campaign trail. Let the bold-faced lies and sloganeering begin.

  • 3 WARS?

    3 WARS?

    Obama is Bush 2.0.

Even hardcore Obaaaaaaama fans need to accept it by now.

  • Most obama voters in 2012 will be voting against republicans, not for obama.

  • @xyzoneon

and at the end of the day, it won't matter because we'll still get the same result... a president who's republican light.

  • We have the power. We also have apathy...

  • i think joe's right. it's our goddamn fault. i'm sick and tired of hearing liberals complain and complain, and frankly sick of complaining myself, we need to get out and fucking march and end this shit and stop whining about what is and isn't being done. that's the first step but then you gotta take action and i don't know when we're gonna say this is enough but i think its about damn time we act, if they raise the retirement age or shit like that lets get out and march like france did!

  • Obama dissapoints at times, but let's get real, who are you gonna vote for? the republicans?

  • @NewYorkCityUSA7 I feel the same way.

  • im sorry i disagree with joe, im not organizing to support a democratic president that has taken nothing but fringe right wing actions since he took office. I will not be voting for obama next election.

  • @803brando

You WILL be voting for Palin as your next President!

  • Fuck off Obama, seriously, We are tired of your BSing.

  • i'm seriously thinking about voting republican then just moving to canada to watch the shit hit the fan.

  • @C0ct0pusPrime No you`re not. Not you of all people.

  • @C0ct0pusPrime man dont bother, its the same here in canada as long as Stephen Harper is our prime minister, he is like a Bush 2.0

  • Just a side-note... being a "progressive" doesn't mean "stop Republicans can getting some of the stuff they want." I've always said the nicest thing I can call Obama is the "leaky dam". Yes, it holds back SOME of the ocean or crazy Republicanism, but the city underneath is slowly flooding.

  • @Dradeeus But the city has ALWAYS been flooding. There are no MESSIAHs running for office. As pointed out, Sirota supported John Edwards. How would that have worked out for us if Edwards WON in 2008? There wouldn't be another Democratic President for a 12 years after that scandal broke.

  • Watching him talking about "knowing what we talk about" in a joking, smug tone, pissed me off big-time. I don't care if it wasn't intentional.

"I know what you talk about... 'Oh, the president seems to be waging the largest war on whistleblowers in modern America, despite calling them 'heroes' during the campaign.' " "Oh, this president seems to have blocked a bill that would have allowed cheaper prescription drugs to be imported into America."

    That's a "laughing" moment?

  • yeah right "elect me for my promises and also make me fulfill my promises once elected"...stop sucking obama dick Joe...what a joke

  • Down...For Production....Keeping us Entertained.BUt ..How about real REAL?...Anyone? Anyone?.

  • The Elite will put Obama in. He's been the best president for the Republicans and Elite's agenda since forever. After seeing how valuable a smooth talking...( truly indifferent to his base).. president is for manipulating the base, the Republicans will want him to win and just run their B team for Prez and spend the time juicing up their base on Christian Righteous war garbage, class warfare issues, and Abortion talk while they take down this country and kill off the poor.

  • "Intelligently" translation Behave, don't ask the uncomfortabale questions or ask about the bad behavior towards the base. Be polite, while we continue to feed you bullshit and give the elite more and more.

The poor are worse now because of legislaton Obama let slip through.... on ALL COUNTS

Name one thing that is better and not worse for the working people of this country since Obama has been in "power". And not this someday under the rainbow ObamaCARe.

  • fuck I LOVE CENK!; keeping it real and NOT letting BULLSHIT win over logic

Obama is useless, weak; his non-fighting-for-change self can kiss my ass

    ORGANIZE, PROGRESSIVES!

    FIGHT!

    =3

  • Smooth talkers, a lot of single mothers can tell ya alllll about them. It's always about the future not the present. It's always about how things *will* be right. It's always about the promise that never seems to materialize.

We are not terrible organizers, out stuff is just not covered by MSM. We made him do health care and he became invisible and had single payer advocates run off like squatters on the Ponderosa. Not falling for this crap, What about the criminal bankers running the WH.

  • Obama's just a pussy. He thought CAMPAIGNING was the hard part.

That was the EASY part, dude. The real work begins when you become President, where you have to clean house and FIGHT FOR CHANGE you fucking pussy, against all of the assholes, stale residual components, and crooks FUCKING UP and DESTROYING the US and ROBBING and DESTROYING the Middle Class.

    MAN UP, pussy (Obama)

    SERIOUSLY

  • nice discussion :D

  • Why haven't we seen that Obama from the beginning of to video?

Also, "We knew change wasn't going to be easy." So then it's okay that it isn't done?

  • What do "progressives" really think you are going to get in the next term that you did not get in the first term?

  • He is bull shitting. Fall for it again if you like.

  • It worked on me the first time around... now he's just a smooth, duplicitous bullshitter.

  • Obama, talk is cheap. You've proven yourself time and time again to be FAR from a progressive. You're fake liberal pandering is pretty lame.

  • I like how that guy says in one way that Progressives should do something, and then follows up that it would hurt the president. You know what? That's exactly how I see the Democratic Party; it's an institution where Progressive policy goes to die.

  • Awesome! Exactly, he's trying to do everything wrong, and we are supposed to try our best to make him do right? What the hell kind of man is he? A sociopath?

Who is this Uncle Tom? The DNC is so full of shit. They will never give us a progressive candidate. I hope Russ Feingold runs. Russ and Howard Dean, or maybe Bernie Sanders.

  • @TheGiantRobot "Give us?" If you had so many "progressive voters" out there you wouldn't need the DNC to "give" you anything. Truth is... there AREN'T that many progressives. Dennis Kucinich never runs for Ohio Senate, does he? Nope. Skips right over that and runs for President where he has NEVER won a primary. NEVER. Russ Feingold got horse-whipped in 2008. Where were the progressives at in Wisconsin?

  • @TheGiantRobot Howard Dean had his shot in 2004. What happened?

  • @amboyace

You should know what happened to Dean - the press killed him. Told everyone he was making angry screams at his celebratory rally, which was, of course, flat out false.

The DNC and the main stream media serve the same beast - Big money. Not their supposed constituents (customers and voters), but big advertisers, big corporations. They control who you get to vote for, who you get to know even exists. If you don't get that, explain to me why not.

  • @TheGiantRobot A scream? Because the media broadcast the Dean Scream he was finished? Hello? The media was broadcasting speeches by Obama's PASTOR live on national cable tv in attempts to take him down, and one scream ruined Dean? C'mon.

  • @amboyace

Are you really that ignorant? Have you been living under a rock? Tell me, why is that scream so famous? And, tell me, why did Dean drop out of the race?

  • @TheGiantRobot OH, don't get me wrong. Dean's audio was isolated from the rest of the room sound and made it sound more pronounced. However, Dean didn't win ANY primaries, save his home state of Vermont, which was after he
