nice, just dont stick out so much flute and stay in tune, you go sharp as you get high, and more vibrato. Use Different tone "colors" to really express yourself :D

It's fine. There isn't really anything wrong with it. It's just that watching it makes me dizzy. I can't really help that. I wasn't bashing him or anything. But it is harder to control an even flow of air when you're constantly putting awkward and shifting pressure on your diaphragm. That's all. I was merely stating a personal preference.

I realize that. There's a guy who plays the flute who kicks and spins and does all kinds of crazy crap while he plays. The difference is, I can't hear it effecting his windstream. No, not really. It's just one of the things I notice. Sorry if you don't. I do. I'm no where near professional and far from proud. I would call myself average for how long I've played.

Sound quality is just one of the things my class concentrated on probably more than other classes did, so I tune into it more automatically. -shrug-

Assume what you want, I really don't care. I only stated my 7-8 years to state I'm not just some random person who has NO idea what she's talking about.

Practically any instrument can be tuned, so the person who was bold enough to say that you cannot tune a flute, I can only assume you speak because you are ignorant in the sense that you've never found a competent flautist. That goes for the people who also said they didn't know the flute could range that high or low in pitches. Then again, I assume, that you are not musicians.

Finally! A fellow flute player! X-D! Anyway, I'd try not to move around as much, as it seems to be screwing with your pitch. I know I can't when I play, and if you don't already, consider a sliver open-hole flute. It'll help your sound immensely.
