  • Awesome!!!

  • Do you know whether this is a traditional reel or if it is original to the soundtrack? If it is traditional do you know the name of it?

  • Good job!:D I enjoyed some of your vids and, well, you play greatly :) I've started playing the bodhran some time ago, but I'm not really good :c

  • My 2 year old niece loves this video

  • how hard is it to learn the interment?

  • Very nice indeed, true pleasure to listen to, I found this by accident after watching Waking Ned, what style of music is this? What should I be searching for if I want to find more of it. Keep up the good work RBN

  • Do you exactly know what you are playing, meaning are you playing specific notes or are you just knowing that it's a reel and then play by instinct?

  • i just know how reels, jigs, hornpipes, etc...i know how they feel and sound. I gather the tempo and feel and go from there. Thats why u always see me pause and bob my head before i start playing

  • That is what I expected and I'm very glad about that because now I have an idea of what playing the bodhrán is like. Thank you.

  • This is cool. I do a bit of bodhranplaying myself. Have a look if you like. Keep the music up!

The main characters are extraordinarily likeable and great talented actors. A breathtaking natural scenery ! Who would not like to live there for a while ? Sharp, but "flavored" with sugar !

  • is this "the parting glasses"?

i just found the song with voices, but this is an other version with just fiddles and tin whistles....where can I get this version of the song?

I love the Irish music and I hope you can help me..

  • see if there is a "Waking Ned Devine" soundtrack, check out itunes or other online mp3 download sites because you don't have to buy the whole album

  • Alisa Jones has a hammered dulcimer version of the song, featuring pipes, guitar, accordion, and other instruments on her album called celtic dreams. It's titled "partin glass" and has no vocals.

  • I looked it up on amazon and the name of this song is The Tullymore Polka, pretty song, I think I'll download it myself!

  • Thanks Kanuck. Sorry my english! I'm italian.. I've learned the bodhran from you. Thanks a lot!!

when it opened up with bagpipes, i cheered. the class stared.
