That is not the proper entry for an aerobatic spin... An RV8 will enter a flatter aerobatic spin quite nicely... Can I recommend a book for you to read (Aerobatics by Neil Williams) It describes basic competition style aerobatic's quite nicely.
Ok now to really wid it up use full opposite aileron when you pull the stick all the way back...Might want to make sure your seat is forward enough to ensure you got full rudder deflection..See video of just how fast it will rotate...Remember to center stick or is won't stop rotating...:)..Frank
Terrific video! I have a Van's RV-6A, and this is very enlightening to see a spin from outside the cockpit. I also appreciate that you did multi-turn ... looks like 3 ... to both left and right.
