  • is it possible to run faster with these things

  • lets make sure you put some type of security code in it so it can only be use by that person in case it gets stolen or other...

  • awesome exo, but that guy needs some damn CHAPSTIK SON!!

  • I wonder how that will hold up in a gun fight! Ironman anyone?

  • จ่าส่งมาเช่นกัน

  • จ่า ส่งมาด้วยคน อิอิ

  • only 200 lbs ?

  • จ่า ส่งมา

  • มาจากดร่าม่ากันมั้งป่าว

  • that bald man is prophet from crysis?

  • next is iron man lol

  • This is the reason America is massively in debt

  • when I see stuff like this and hear how the U.S government awarded companies millions to billion dollars worth of contract to build these things, it tells us one thing, that their endless quest for wars will continue. You know they need to put this stuff to use after building several, they're not going to let it stockpile for museum shows. Along with this, are also some new weapons, new planes, tanks, ships, you name it. All of it getting ready for Iran, why cant we live in peace????

  • @grinkale its not always about conquest, these systems are typically for reduction in man power, and have a limited effect on offensive capability

  • I'd like to see him running when he gets shot in the ass

  • Please God cleanse this world!

  • Mind controlled zombies!

  • So sad !!

  • Why are we spending $400 mill. On this crap. Recession my ass, government.

  • Does it have arms, cause if it does, you could make a human-sized Gundam suit for the army, or private, vigilante use. COUGH COUGH Ironman COUGH.

  • @immortalium you are fucking right

  • Comment removed

  • No wonder mother nature is going to wipe us all out in 2012 when all we do is waste our time and money trying to come up with better ways of wiping each other out. She might as well save us the time and effort and do it for us.

  • lazy bastards

  • Great - it's going to carry extra weight. When is it going to shoot round corners stop RPGs or find its way from A to B. I didn't think so. The makers should be looking for peaceful constructive uses for their invention.

  • @Phlegmwahn I'd like you to take a look at E-Legs, another of their inventions, similar to the HULC, used for such 'peaceful and constructive' purposes.

  • как-то по-хуй

  • Goddamnit. "This kind of technology will greatly benefit the military. He will be able to carry so many more weapons and bombs, blah blah blah, he will be able to kill so many more humans." What about building more houses for people? What about going into third world countries and digging wells for villages that have to walk 10 miles to get water? What about helping humanity! WHEN WILL HUMANS GROW UP?

  • @xiaoxi12 You do realize, that, when this technology is perfected, people will be able to do the good humanitarian deeds you described with much greater ease and efficiency, eh? True, it's unfortunate that the suit has war-related applications. However, most of our best technology, including some of the stuff that's helped humanity in the way you describes, was often designed by the military first.

  • @xiaoxi12

Oh fuck off, like it or not but war has given us countless inventions.

  • @ihavekankles Yes I understand that lots of great technology that we enjoy was originally developed for war applications. My point is, I wish we didn't have to develop it for war in the first place.

  • what is this song?

  • Titanium? They'd better come up with a cheaper alternative than that. Otherwise everyone will be shooting at the soldiers just for a chance to loot their fancy exoskeletons.

  • SIGN ME THE FUCK UP!

  • Screw the bomb clip attachment. This needs a minigun attachment option!

  • 全球貨櫃裝卸員,可能面臨失業潮。但是,仍然是很久以後的事。

  • Ironically the inventor of the HULC exoskeleton , Homayoon Kazerooni , is an Iranian .

  • I wouldn't be suprised if japan had a secret terminator project

  • But wouldn't a pack donkey be cheaper and more useful?

  • @ymirfrostgiant But that's how the mexican army does it. And you know how that would go if the US used the same thing as the Mexicans.

  • Great for the warehouse (a la Alien w/ Sigourney Weaver) not so much on the battlefield where these slow fuckers would be picked off and scavenged for parts in about 30 minutes.

  • So, I'm wondering if the fifty pounds is included into their 200 pound figure, and replacement parts for when this thing inevitably gets blown up

  • This will not work in hostile environments. Maybe useful for peace keeping missions and aid delivery.

  • This would be cool for civilians users as well.

  • I'd be more impressed if they developed a suit for construction workers.

War outside games and movies is just ridiculous. Grow up humanity, and stop hitting yourself.

  • @mg03nma I understand what you're saying but you have to recognize that a lot of tech advancement comes from military projects due to the available military funding. Outside of the military it's hard to find the available funding to develop such technology.

  • My mama used to call them their magic shoes

  • This is for army pukes.. Not Marines

  • @gangstastyle55 When the technology is out there the marines will but it as well you stupid fuck.

  • Lol the army needs this so they can try to be like thr marines. The army babys you so much.

  • This is like the biggest bulshit I've seen in my life.

  • oh great , so when u standing there with a 500 pound bomb in ur hand ( 1:55 ) , and someone shoots u and hits the battery compartment, i really would like to see what happens to that guy !

  • @Diabloke2701 That's a 155mm howitzer round, not a 500lb bomb. There is no battery compartment. There's a fuze on top which, when compressed, causes the explosives to initiate. Kill radius is 50m from the epicenter of the blast. Casualty producing radius is approximately 100m from the epicenter.

Recovering unexploded ordinance and carrying it back by hand is a normal event. Unfortunately it's very difficult to wear 100lbs of gear and then carefully carry a 100lb explosive for an hour or more

  • @desuhue when i said battery compartment , i meant the battery compartment of the suit .....

  • RUN FORREST RUN

  • It's crysis !

  • Great now russia has to make terminators

  • @speedcorematik You mean 'Russia has to continue making terminators', right?

  • Well, hmmm, google "EATR" and "SWORDS"...the US is already working on systems similiar to the early Terminators as portrayed in Terminator 3.

Robots able to "feed" on bio mass....autonome drones that carry LMGs, granate launchers, etc.

I wonder if these engineers and their employers never watched Terminator or if they just didn´t get the message....DO NOT BUILD INTELLIGENT WAR MACHINES THAT DON´T NEED US TO KEEP WORKING !!!

  • @speedcorematik

Probably they can't because they are behind on everything, they are stupid as fuck...

  • @nvideabelgium Xenopatriotism, even worse than average patriotism. You are a garbage.

  • @speedcorematik exoskeleton? does not deserve attention. We have free pornо

  • This black dude looks like Prophet. :)

  • @Kinglsulgard : and seriously, "HULC" ?? ... when will they grow up...

  • @Kinglsulgard : I agree, but to me it prooves that priorities are so wrong. The budget needed to make something like that should not be for the military, but for humanitarian and medical purposes FIRST, and then maybe later a military one.

  • Great, now they will have to bomb Afghanistan some more to pay for those suits.

But who cares right, at least we got Jersey Shore on tv.

    People are stupid.

  • You could probably carry a light artillery piece around on your back, deploy it wherever your limbs can take you, without the noise of a helicopter. Oh snap.

  • they should use it to help handicapped people walk again instead of using it to create more handicaps

  • @chuysecom It can also be used for that. They say that in the article but not in the movie.

  • @chuysecom It can also be used for that, they say that in the article but not in this vid.

Anyway it would be good if the army would get involved because then improvements will occur more rapidly :), that's just a fact, and civilians could benefit from that.

  • in order to kill more people?

  • Still second to the Nanosuit

  • ...the best technology for the most stupid reasons... humans are so dumb.

  • Here's a touching story for you boys..

    No one cares

  • Burn in Hell Lockheed Martin!

  • @laslopanaflex01

    Burn in hell laslapanaflex01!

  • muskymod has posted a comment on your profile:

Go fuck yourself you wanker fuckbag

hehe he is pissed because no matter how hard america tries it just can't win a single fricken war for the last 50 fricken years . . . hey muskymod thats just about as long as you have been alive ...embarrassed much wanker ?

  • you'd be better off putting a few ground to air defenses around your military Headquarters ,you know whats it called ,the pentagone ....so another guy in a cave doesn't beat your multi TRILLION dollar defense with some boxcutters !

  • more useless money wasting pissing contest crap for an already morally and financially bankrupt country . . . USA,USA,USA

  • @MMIIXX USA #1

  • @arkivx1 USA #1 at losing wars ,yep .

  • @MMIIXX

How are we any more 'morally bankrupt' than any other country? You buy into too many stereotypes, the average American is pretty down to earth. Pull your head out of your ass man.

  • @Illumirage @Illumirage some would say invading Iraq was the act of unrestrained aggression and that the deaths of every single Iraqi was a crime against humanity.

Bush was a moron and "the people" (in general) followed their leader out of fear and out of fear of being called unpatriotic . The blood of uncountable innocents are on your countries collective hands no matter how you spin it.

  • @MMIIXX And yes I might have my head up my ass but my actions and as the case maybe inaction has not resulted in the death of one single human being .The majority of American can not say that.

Then there is the death you have rained down on Afghanistan and your blind acceptance and enabling of Israels abuse of Palestinians .Your Corporation have raped country after country but yes I'm guilty of buying into to many "stereotypes", yea right.

  • GHOST IN THE FUCKING SHELL!!!!!

by 2030 we'll have full Type 303 armor suits and sentient AI tanks

  • @1x93cm no you'll be a third world socialist country by then ...wait hold on ! maybe china will lend you the money to keep playing war ? and who knows if you pick some one a little less "on to it" you might actually win one of your wars ...maybe Nauru - 8.5 square miles - The 13,000 residents of the Pacific island Nauru rely on diminishing phosphate deposits. The state became independent in 1968 and was formerly known as Pleasant Island.

might pay to wait for their shit deposit to run out :)

  • @MMIIXX who said anything about the US? I was refering to humanity in general- The japanese and koreans invented the robot suit -check out HAL robot suit

their technology is way ahead of the US when it comes to robots- also the US only knows how to make things for war- not so in japan and s Korea

  • inb4 merkin' nerdrage

  • i thought you americunts were running out of money.

  • @amitbarfs

Americunts? RIP Osama Bin Laden? You fuckin' terrorist douchebag. Also, I think it's pretty odd how you call us 'Americunts' and half the music you like is American.

I would thoroughly enjoy curb-stomping you.

  • @Illumirage

for someone with a :tard smiley you sure are way too easily trolled brah

  • @amitbarfs

Sorry, I'm not sure I know what a :tard smiley is. But honestly dude, RIP Osama? Really?

  • @Illumirage

your icon...is the infamous :tard smiley. and what's wrong with a little joking around about OBL? that happened 10 years ago, it's time to lighten up about one incident, especially when USA commits way more atrocities around the world in the name of fighting terrorism...

  • @amitbarfs

    Oh that? I don't think that's a 'tard' smiley...Just a smiley, but...

Ten years ago or not, I don't think the unneeded deaths of thousands of Americans and the changing of the New York skyline are a laughing matter. Call me crazy.

No. America doesn't commit 'way more atrocities around the world.' You're wrong, you've been lied to. Do you know how many acts of terror have been committed in the name of Allah since 9/11? You're placing the blame on all the wrong parties...

  • @Illumirage How do you define terror ? And yes I would like to know " how many acts of terror have been committed in the name of Allah since 9/11" ????????????????

    Thanks

  • @SethVandenberg

If you don't know that already, you shouldn't be questioning me. 17,426 to be exact. Yes, there's a ticker.

I don't think I have to define terror, you already know what I'm talking about. Killing innocent people for no fucking reason other than you (stupidly) think your religion mandates it. That's a loose definition, I could be more concise but right now I'm not in the mood.

    Thanks

  • @Illumirage Of course you must define the word terror if one is going to count the alleged number of times ' it ' occurs.Oh ! Forgot, you have a ticker ! I shouldn't question you ? You also have taken a quote "atrocities " and neatly transposed it " terror " If the original word is utilized within context then you would be incorrect. Definition matters ! Anyone who becomes [as you have] fixated with the 2nd largest religion on the planet and a MILITARY tactic [ Terror ] lacks rational thought.

  • @SethVandenberg

You're twisting words, diverting blame, lending credence to murderous thugs and just being downright irrational. Seriously, go get your head examined. Many of these terrorists I'm decrying would revel in the act of sawing off YOUR head. And your sitting around here defending them. Oh the irony. Let me guess, Liberal?

You're complacent, ignorant, and have your head firmly up your ass. Stop talking, you're out of your element on this one.

  • @Illumirage You make obtuse proclamation of alleged facts when I simply do not accept inane prattle bolstered with propaganda as justification for spewing ignorance. Only fools play the liberal conservative nonsense. If anything, you are out of your league suggesting anything of substance to me. You are , Naive, unworldly ,obviously easily manipulated by preconceived notions. Far removed from anything vaguely associated with the trauma of war,

death and the price paid by noncombatants. = BS

  • Comment removed

  • @Illumirage

I'm out of my element, huh? I only research this topic pretty much daily, I guess I'm still out of my element....

Look, you can throw out all the three-dollar-words you want, it still doesn't hide the fact that you don't know what in the hell you're talking about Seth.

You're the absolute typical liberal, to a T. Placing the blame in all the wrong places, dancing around valid points and downplaying that validity, making outrageous claims that don't hold water, etc.

    What a joke...

  • @Illumirage Jeez ,I'm a registered Republican, however both sides ignore their constituents. Blame for our foreign policy CLUSTER FUCK in Eurasia lays squarely on the shoulders of Congress and the Executive Branch. Where do you do your alleged daily research? I've read some of your posts from 3 years past. You appear to parrot MSM catch phrases, accept them as the holy grail and champion / cling to them as if they are your children. The gullibility of Americans is astonishing !

  • @SethVandenberg

You read some of my posts from three years ago? First of all where? Also that's not stalker-ish at all...

I have no idea which posts you're referring to so, moving on...

Daily research, I pull information from all over the place. "The gullibility of Americans," eh? Again, I'm not buying into that, no more gullible than others. As if being born on this strip of land in between the Atlantic and Pacific makes one exceptionally gullible, pff....

  • @Illumirage It is pretty simple NUMB NUTS. One starts with that moronic profile everyone is so fond of."Stalker-ish"Nope just an attempt to determine your philosophy on other issues of conflict. " You pull information from all over the place " LOL! right ,that clarifies your rather narrow minded view points. Yes, Americans in general are exceedingly stupid [ ck educational world ranking ] hence easily manipulated = Gullible. Your overt ignorance is boring. I can watch TV an hear your opinions.

  • @SethVandenberg

How does the fact that I get information from a variety of sources 'clarify my narrow-minded views?" I read many publications, including liberal ones, Islamic ones, Asian publications, European outlets, etc. so I can get many viewpoints. So no, that doesn't at all, clarify my narrow-minded viewpoints. If anything it's the opposite, you're an idiot.

My education was pretty exceptional, but maybe that's because I come from a more well-to-do area. Lake Minnetonka, Minnesota.

  • @Illumirage "My education was pretty exceptional "If that is to imply you are now a well informed, open minded individual, who doesn't parrot the party line . I would seek a refund. This is not an ad hominem attack [ $3 word you should understand ] however, in all honesty, you are without exception, the most outstanding dullard I've EVER encountered. You can't even comprehend the ramifications [ through gov proclamation no less ] of " The Global War on Terror "MMIIXX bitch slaps you every time!

  • @SethVandenberg

Again, we'll have to agree to disagree. A petty response from a petty, small mind. You would think he 'bitch-slapped' me every time because you're both left-leaning loons. And he's a truther, no less. I've met people more retarded than you, but you're up there. Such a smug, condescending, 'holier than thou' mentality, it's actually quite sickening. Get over yourself and get down off your high-horse before responding again ya' sorry sack'a shit.

  • @Illumirage " Agree to Disagree " I suppose that pretty well sums it up. The truth is, I am not retarded and you are not a dullard. YouTube is a venue well suited for exchanges of the lowest common denominator. Discussion of emotionally charged issues inevitably degenerates into an exchange of insults, hence, with all the civility I am able to muster, I shall refrain from issuing a vulgar comment . Cheers

  • Comment removed

  • @SethVandenberg

Well, I tend to agree w/ most of what's said there. That makes you better than most of the children on this site I guess, the fact that you'd say that.

  • @Illumirage I feel fortunate to have been born in America. I do not like where it is going. One of the reasons I engage guys like you, is every single word you utter in support of "THE WAR ON TERROR"allows our alleged representatives to pass law which infringes on the freedoms and civil liberties we have come to take for granted. Per the DHS policy statements every single American is a fucking person of interest. Hence who is the real G_d Damn enemy here ? Per your parroting this shit will go on

  • @SethVandenberg

You have Muslims, and Muslims only to thank for all of that. All the TSA Airport Security bullshit, again Muslims. Aren't they just great!?

  • @Illumirage REALLY ? Hummm I was apparently under the mistaken impression CONGRESS instituted the DHS who initiated TSA. Don't think ANY muslims voted on that bill. Jeez!

  • @SethVandenberg

As a response, smartass. A response to Muslims trying to blow up planes.

  • @Illumirage STUPID AS EVER I SEE ! If I desire any more sophomoric inane prattle I'll turn on the News.

  • @Illumirage

pretty sure USA commits a lot more atrocities than OBL ever did, brah.

  • @amitbarfs

Maybe by accident. The killing of innocents by the U.S. military is neither encouraged nor condoned, it's actually punished severely. And lets not forget all of the acts of terror Osama inspired, and all the terrorists that killed people as a result of his actions.

Honestly, I can't get over how you're defending Osama, the Hitler of our generation. Go get your head examined...

  • @Illumirage

excuse me but one man's terrorist is another man's hero. for instance USA's heroes Bush and Obama are terrorists in my eyes, just as OBL is a terrorist in yours.

  • @amitbarfs

You're a terrorist. Go get a lobotomy, for the good of mankind.

  • @Illumirage

one man's terrorist is another man's hero.

  • @Illumirage you are "told" after spending a trillion dollars that the "ALLEGED" mastermind of 911 was killed ...one man and you think that is worth bragging about ? and then theres the matter of proof !

  • @MMIIXX

So 9/11 deaths shouldn't have been avenged then? Is that what you're getting at?

  • @Illumirage there is not enough evidence to prove Osama Bin Laden was behind 911 just ask the FBI ...not FOX NEWS ! sheep .And you know the Taliban said they would hand Osama Bin Laden over before America fired the first shot ,will you did know that didn't you ?

Now you can tell us how WTC 7 collapsed or how a guy in a cave managed to destroy part of the Military headquarters of a country that spend more on defense than any country in the history of the world .

    Blind loyalty ,just blind.

  • @MMIIXX

Hah, so many people assume I'm an avid Fox News guy. I'm not really...wrong already. Osama even admitted to it himself, and actually there's plenty of information linking him to it, it's not hard to find.

    .

Ugh, you leftist internet assholes all say that too, Sheep and blind. You're just like the rest, hurling insults, flawed logic, blaming all the wrong parties, making plenty of assumptions about me and claiming intellectual superiority.

Honestly, fuck off, ya' truther douchebag.

  • @Illumirage

Bush Rejects Taliban Bin Laden Offer

    By Kathy Gannon

    washingtonpost(DOT)com/wp-srv/aponline/20011014/aponline135016_000.htm

    loser

  • @MMIIXX

Who's to say they'd actually go through with it? Sounds flimsy at best. They just complete their most ambitious attack ever and hand over their number one guy and mastermind of it?

    loser

  • @Illumirage further communication is useless

  • @MMIIXX

Meh, go fuck yourself. Quit defending assholes who would love to torture the shit out of YOU.

  • @Illumirage I try to avoid Americans so I figure I'm safe from being "tortured" .

    out.

  • @MMIIXX

Yeah, because we torture so many people. You're incredibly misinformed. Take a walk...

  • @Illumirage 9/11: as it happened on the ground /watch?v=6J4o3Tbf5kg&feature=player_embedded#at=17

    I'm not that misinformed !

  • @MMIIXX

So you'll admit you're at least, somewhat misinformed? Hahaha, I've gotten that same response SO many times. It's automatic, I know the response to that BS.

Here we go, even in highly controlled and scrutinized scientific experiments there are phenomena that are seemingly unexplainable. MUCH MORE in an event of such a grandiose scale, and unprecedented I might add. There will be questions.

    Here's a good rebuttal, I'd say...

    /watch?v=9Q5S0ehGhR4

I have more where that came from...

  • Это же прототип :) Серийный позволит убежать от медленных пуль и отбить быстрые специальной ракеткой

  • От пуль то он не спасает !!!

  • But will it blend?

  • Again our American nerds trump the nerds of all other nations. And the T-51 PA is right around the corner. I think a suit that is proof against 7.62 x NATO and grenade fragments that incorporates a camera gun system combined with a full solution ballistic computer and Tactical Data system is a breath away. Imagine ten grunts that have just returned from a six hour patrol being recharged and replenished by a robotic support vehicle OR through the slave port of a Hummer.

  • The first thing that comes to mind, " RUN FOREST RUUUUUN!!" hahaa

  • Another expensive device to get soldiers to carry an extra hundred pounds of stuff they don't need. Yay...

  • @nuggztheninja So an extra hundred pounds of Rations and Ammo isn't something they need?

  • @nuggztheninja Yeah. Speaking of a hundred pounds of stuff they don't need, remember that when one of those soldiers arrives in your neighbourhood during a disaster and they carry your sorry ass to safety

  • @elmiraviking Yeah that'll be great until it runs out of batteries. I'm a combat infantry veteran with enough sense to realize that batteries don't always arrive on time. My "sorry ass" won't need carrying any time soon.

  • @nuggztheninja EMP...

and you have a bunch of useless aluminum poles...

although I'm pretty sure at the end of ww3 we'll have a full Halo style exoskeleton battlesuit

  • Comment removed

  • I hope they can transform this into power armor like the iron man suit

  • Пока идет веса не чувствует. Потом бэнц, падает. И его рюкзаком придавило:)

  • Sarcos XOS looks more developed

  • @ninjaiceflame Sarcos XOS is also tethered...

  • dragons skin was proven to degrade in the desers, so now they need some new generation of it, and make the full body armor complete with arms protection, because the current thing is ridiculous.

  • possible end of the free human race...

  • Yeah but what if he has no spare AA batteries - what then smartypants ??!!

  • @holydaygolight u r 100% right !!!!

  • The use of this technology shouldn't be to have the soldier carry more gear-- the purpose of the exo skeleton should be to permit the soldier to wear better/heavier body armor; whether that be full body dragon skin or a shell based suit.

  • wish i had this when i was in the Corps.

  • ill be honest

i know its just for civilian use

but the hal5 looks way more badass

  • Two shoulder-mounted miniguns thank you.

  • I wanna see him carry a 50 cal machine gun.

  • long live bush and cheeny! we will conquer the world!

  • convert the system into a controller and build a giant robot and you have a GUNDAM

  • fucking bad ass!!!!! with this things we could give the soldiers freaking 50 cal machineguns instead the saw.

  • Fuck the military, I need this for hiking

  • @15minclub Hiking EXTREME

  • looks like life sized GI joe

    badass

  • Next step is space marine suits

  • Comment removed

  • @MaggiZkater Urgh, the company who is developing this is also developing invisibility and self healing shields.

  • Fuck this! We need supersoldiers that can leap on tanks and rip off the turret!!!!

  • ... now if they could get this thing to be armored we could create the first Armored Infantry Divisions ... hmm, now that get's me thinking

  • why does technology always have be how to kill others more efficiently... can't we use this to help the elderly. or crippled. sick of this shit. war is not cool or glamorous. why is it ok to kill kids and family's if the government says it's ok . yet it is illegal and bad if we do it...wake up folks.

  • @yappertrap

Because the army pays more than the elderly

  • @ConstantinIV we the people pay there wages. taxes...the owners of this system put our money toward war...inturn they are killing us and putting us into slavery via our money. tyranny comes in many forms..utube illuminati,,chemtrails,,,flouride,,,nwo

  • @yappertrap the companies that develop this technology is private and sells to the defense department of the government that is tasked to buy products that are efficient in battle. War is a part of mankind that has been there from the start of our existence and will remain whether we like it or not, might as well make sure that our soldiers are kept as safe as possible. The funding from the defense department along with NASA are the reason we have had most if not all technological advancement

  • @yappertrap

Because it's the internet and to most people who talk about "cool" and "wicked" stuff in internez Call of Duty is "war".
