Recovering unexploded ordinance and carrying it back by hand is a normal event. Unfortunately it's very difficult to wear 100lbs of gear and then carefully carry a 100lb explosive for an hour or more

The use of this technology shouldn't be to have the soldier carry more gear-- the purpose of the exo skeleton should be to permit the soldier to wear better/heavier body armor; whether that be full body dragon skin or a shell based suit.
