Mach 1 w/ SLP LM1, SLP Catted X and Ford Racing Shorties

How did it sound without the shorties? Just the x pipe and lm1's

Hey man I saw on your other video that you have 4.10 gears. Whats your top speed? I'm thinking of 3.90 or 4.10 for my mach 1.

5th gear is still long enough to get to you to the speed limiter with 4.10s.

The car sounds great!!! I have a question about the headers. I have an 02 GT with Borla stingers on it with just the stock h pipe and I am wondering if the Ford headers were worth the money?

If i could do it over again i wouldnt have put the headers on... was alot of money for not too much... I'd say get a mid pipe instead : )

LM 1s sound like sh*t! They have no tone, they're just loud. Should have gotten LM 2s.

Uh, just so you know...running the FRPP headers are hurting you. They were NOT made for our cars. Compare the ports on the head, to the one on the header...totally different.

right on, called FRPP today 2 clarify...was told they don't make a shorty for the 4V engine. Nice car bro, I got a yellow 04, bright colors set the Mach's lines off nice.

I have a 2003 Mach1 and I was told that the LM1 was louder than the LM2, but that the LM2 sounds better. I still haven't made up my mind. I'd prefer a more beautiful sound over loudness. Any opinions?

I like the LM1 much better, but that's me. I also like the Powerflo more than the LM2.

Dude i used to have SLP LM with my catted X i thought it sounded good and stuff, yet one day i thank god for a heard another 4V with a catted X and original 40s flowmasters and o my god it sounded so much better, first thing i did was rip the SLPs off and installed some flows, no i cant ever believed i like how SLP sounded, they dont even come close to the sound of a chambered muffler on a 4V.

Flows always sound better on a stang...I think they are slightly more restrictive as they are chambered (40 series)..but not nearly as shitty as stock...even single chamber Flowmasters sound amazing if you want it still super loud with a better tone...but its nasty (in a good way;) already!..I have single chamber flows on my P1sc SVT but I dropped a valve and havent had the time/$ to put it back in the shop...soon very soon...
