@doggyboyboy sorry for offending anyone, but i am not racist. Being racist means to hate a race and I definitely do not hate the chinese, in fact i really do like them. Although I should probably rephrase my statement to "many chinese people cannot sing". The truth is I can hardly find a chinese singer now that really has the voice. Compare a philipino, black or latino singer to a chinese one. I am not by any means "hating" the chinese, so you have no right to call me a racist.

@TechnoUndercity There are plenty of excellent Chinese singers. It's just that, for the most part, Chinese music doesn't lend itself to the vocal styles of contemporary American pop. So, Chinese singers typically do not sing in a way that perhaps the average Westerner would appreciate.
Similarly, some of the best singers in the world are in opera, but they're not often recognised next to the Beyoncés and Christinas in the industry.

you should actually broaden your sights. Every single one of us is limited by our own perception of this world. The world is so vast and we are so small therefore to make statements like "comparing latino, blacks, filippinos as better than chinese singers due to your own experiences is unfair."
It's like me saying hey i think chinese are better mathematicians and more intelligent than blacks etc would be offensive.
PS that style of singing is R and B......

and not every single musical style requires you to over sing like that. Only gospel, r and B and soul music requires one to over sing like that, therefore all becos someone doesn't over sing doesn't mean he's not a good singer.

nope that's not really an opinated matter but rather a factual one. Look it's up to an individual whether he's a good or bad singer. You made a stereotype of comparing 3 very different races of ppl and commented that they sang better than chinese ppl which is wrong and offensive.

Which part do you not understand? It's good that you admit you were wrong. As for me rating whether how someone sings it's solely my own opinion but still it's shared by huge numbers of ppl. There are different genres of music out there that require different styles of singing.
