when i was younger when i got this game, (I was 18 when it first came out) I Really loved this part, I played it with all the lights off, Then when i got to chaper 4-? (I dont remember the sub-Chapter thingy) I seen the regenorator, I turned my ps2 on pause, turned my lights on, unpaused the game, grabbed my RPG... Fired, I thought it died but it chomped my face off lol... I when i beat it and i got to the iron maiden i was like "NUUUU" cuz i ran out of Ammo on the front, Missed the back 1 lol..

Each version has it's advantages (GC: Nostalgia, PS2: SW etc.; Wii: controls, SW etc.), but I mainly have them all for enoug save slots (for this one, all other versions had NO free slots remaining, so the GC was the way to go).

Well, my Pro mode walkthrough was not planned, but happend out of a mood. Since in the GC version, I had PLENTY of saveslots left (compared to my PS2/Wii, which were all filled), I did this on the Gamecube.

THOSE parts require additional speed AND pushing rythm. Basically, it's MASHING THE BUTTON!

Even though I get past the rock parts, I can't get to knife El Gigante's parasite properly. Even if I get the right rythm and speed, Leon slashes in slow-mo... :S

As for all things, practice will help you improve.

This run just shows ways to get through the game. It's supposed to give you some ideas for your own playthroughs. You don't "have to" do anything. :)

well im must admit btw you playing is sure you are pro, but at 4:20 i will suggest you another way to kill the ganados much more easier way the way i use. when you open the gate at the right you one guy kill him then just stand there, after that will come much more ganados many of them with dinamite so you need to keep the back with knife or kicking the into the head the other ganados with dinimite will throw to them self the dinimite so the will kill each other. and you will save much more amo

That's because I own the GC, PS2 and Wii versions, and my Wii and PS2 slots are all full. I have to check whether I can overwrite a savefile I won't need anymore or if I just go make it on the GC, as there I have like 15 slots left. :D

normal dificulty has a bit more gameplay then the easy dificulty , is pro only harder or theres something more ?

Well, Easy mode is basically for your first playthrough, to get to know everything, but it misses some major puzzles you have to do when playing Normal/Pro mode.

Compared to normal mode, in pro mode, enemies have more health, are more aggressive, have higher accuracy and quick time events become harder. That's basically it. Once you get the hang of it, you will get every much used to pro mode (like me). Also, due to their raise in aggressiveness, enemies can be tricked easier in Pro mode.

It's less about speed, but continuing rhythm. The first time I went through the two rock runs, I failed, especially on Pro mode (and I still can't get down the slashing mechanism for El Gigante -____-, it's neither really speed reliant nor rhythm :S ).

After some training, you should be able to do it.

The trick is not only to press the button quite fast, you also have to press it rhythmically. If you still have problems, just buy a turbo pad and you're done.

Well, the first few chapters are basically: Picking up items, ammo, running, solving quests to move on and trigger scenes. Nothing more to do (except you want to go nuts on ganados xD)

You just ignored them and collected the two halves and proceeded ahead...could u please upload the videos in which you have killed all the enemies in all the chapters. I have no such videos, and I remember seeing only one run where someone actually had the goal to kill EVERY enemy in the game. I just kill those that are either in my way or necessary for proceeding further. I spent enough time killing ganados in Mercenaries, a mode that annoyed me as hell xD

First: I know that U-3 can be (quite easily) knifed, but I never had a "real" fight with it as I always just blew it up with a Rocket xD

Second: Button mashing takes practice. The first few times I played Pro Mode I got crushed a few times :S Running is the most annoying quick time event there is imo. >_>

Grenades can be sold for 1000/2000 pesetas, I barely sell Flash Grenades, as these are the most helpful. Ammo is always good, as you will find knifing specific parts without sufficient ammo pretty tough.

I haven't forgotten anything... I never pick up the shotgun, since I neither need it nor its money. Early game it wastes too much space in my suitcase (I rather use this for additional grenades/herbs and ammo) and everytime I finish a first round pro mode playthrough, I end up with plenty of pesetas.
