@inlovewithKStewart22 - depends on the version he's singing, but I like the one you noted better. The original has a whole 1/2 a verse more than what is commonly sung now days.
You did this song too! Amazing! This song is amazing...the piano is brilliant and your voice...oh...your voice. One word...Amazing! Phantom of the Opera is an amazing play and your voice, for sure does it justice! Beautiful...again!
They have said you never forget the first time you hear the beautiful music from phantom. Well all I have to say is I will never forget your verison :)))) amazing job!!
Great! only thing i dont like is when you wait an extra rest and then speed up the phrase. otherwise your amazing. the best song for you is if i cant love her though.
wow..... that was too amazing for the words you are destined to be the phantom this is coming from a girl who is related to the original christine (sarah brightman)
Hey Scot, I was wondering what your vocal range is? Notewise, haha because I can tell you probably fall into the bass/baritone category. I'm personally a bass, but I can't come close to hitting a high F as well as you did in "If I can't love her." I just wanted to know your range, how long you worked to develop that range, or if you just naturally have a large range. I feel like knowing this could help me get a better idea of my own voice and how far I can go with it.
my favorite song from phantom of the opera!!!! i saw the broadway version when i was a little to young to appreciate it, but i grew to know more about it and you performed this song absolutely beautifully
Hey, I love your style (especially If I Can't Love Her and All I Ask of You)! Have you done Come What May from Moulin Rouge yet? I'd love to hear that! =)
its just the timing i think. really lovely, mellow, buttery voice though its lovely. I think its cause your recording and listening to the track live together and they're not going completly in sinq for you. i agree with Tribulattifather's comment, re-record it and see it then! Great job though
Good singing but you rushed the song. Please redo this song a lot slower. I'd be interested hear it this way from you. You have an amazing instrument = let us hear it slower please :D
I can't believed a person disliked this, it's a very good interpretation and I was very pleased with your tone, vowels, and pretty much everything. I was very impressed, because some other singers do this song and make such excruciating mistakes, but this was pretty much perfect. Good job!!!
...definitely a tenor, and I actually enjoyed your performance better than M. Crawford. His tone is very off-putting. I never found it pleasing. I did enjoy your performance very much, though.
its very good.. but with such a brilliant song like this. theres no need to change it up with dragging thew verses. but it was good... im gonna post one on my page.
seriously you are one of the best singers ive ever heard i've already bought two of your songs from itunes you rock. o so andrew lloyd webber wrote a continuation of phantom called "Love never dies" while the plot is not very god the music still rocks and i think you should check out a song callled "till I hear you sing" with your voice im sure it would sound great. so check it out
man. i'm a 16 year old in my chorus and we finally get to do this show! and they liked our auditions for the rights to this show. but i'm a bass 2 and i'm hoping to get phantom though. i love your voice man. no homo. haha
Scot, you have an amazing voice. I am a 45 year old mom and wife that loves to sing. You have a remarkable talent. Thank you for sharing with us!! I hope to put some of my work out on YouTube one of these days. I need some good recording equipment like you have. Take care my friend!! xox
OMG, you have to marry me now...this is my favorite musical ever!!! Again, I cried at your voice. You have one of the most AMAZING voices...it just warms my heart, and makes me feel light. This is absolutely SPLENDID<3<3 STRONG, POWERFUL voice, OMG you are brilliant. "Sweet Intoxication" that has you written all over it!!! And, what the hell, we'll have any kind of wedding you want!<3<3
I will try to explain this in English, but I´m not really good, so I hope you understand. If you sing the beginning of a sentence everytime a note later, you´ll take the genderness of the song away. It doesn´t make it more beautifully by doing that.
Fantastic. You really make a connection to the songs you sing. And although I have probably heard this song a million times before, it was like hearing it for the first time. Thanks.
I like how you sang it your way, you didn't allow from what I could tell anyone else's style affect you. Your voice was so good in this (as always). I love how you started out so softly and gently (just as the song entails) in the beginning and then you begin to grow stronger and louder throughout it, it was absolutly beautiful!
Good performance, work on your Diphthongs, like sens"aas" not see"siis", just open your mouth :)

Very awesome job! :D although to help you improve, could tell you that you rushed the lyrics in certain parts, but it was otherwise beautiful!

Great. But the lyric is "Music shall caress you. Hear it, feel it, secretly posses you." not "Surround you" or "Closing in around you."

@Allyndaar1982 Yeah, that's true. I like though "Music shall caress you" "Secretly posses you" better than what it used to be.
