Typical train noise and speeds -- Amtrak Cascades and freight

I think the main purpose of the Bypass is to speed up Cascades trains and extend Sounder service. How many freight trains are expected to use it? Passenger trains clear crossings a lot faster than long freights do.

I would say that first freight at the crossing is doing about 40mph.
