@vastenmielinen where you plug the phones headphones into on the device, its a standard mini-jack socket. so you can use it with any mini-jack headphones and even through computer speakers, and into mixing desks and stuff. I own one of these phones, and i have not yet found any hardware that will not run with the phone. i think its fair to say, if its got a mini-jack, it can be used with the nokia N8. Hope this helps.

Hello Mark, just wanted to say that you can also download Swype for the N8 from Nokia Beta Labs, and that will give you qwerty keyboard in portrait mode too.. :D

@bandora you got it to work? I was able to install the file, but the swype keyboard doesn't show up. It doesn't list the Nokia N8 as a compatible device.

@thenokiablog Ah, no I haven't got it to work.. I was just thinking that it might work, because the N8 can run Symbian^1 applications.. So I thought that it would work.. I guess they will update it soon to support the N8.. :)

@absolon3 : Why do you keep focusing on Symbian phones? In my opinion Android is the big winner of this generation. Take a look at the T-Mobile G2 (I live in Europe so HTC Desire Z), awesome phone for tech geeks like you and me!

but my personal opinion is Nokia way better when it comes to phoning, iPhone good for entertainment of course. so my order is,

@nuwaus Well I have only bought Nokia phones but it's not really smart to stick with that. Nokia just made shittiest phones ever after 2008 or something but N8 is finally better than others like 5800, n97 etc.. N97 looks good and all but it lags, 5800 freezes in cold (and Nokia town in Finland is cold place so that's pretty ironic) They don't make phones there but everybody there buys them so it's kinda stupid to even make some shit like Nokia 5800, 5530 etc..

The lighting on this video is terrible. You need to shoot in a bright area. Watch some of the more popular tech video makers and you'll see what I am talking about.

@Zitox2010 Sure I can explain them quickly. The HDMI cable lets you connect the Nokia N8 to an HDTV. The USB OTG cable lets you connect external flash drives, mice, and even keyboards to the Nokia N8

Why must Nokia insist on messing with things that shouldn't be messed with? For this phone the location of the delete button on the qwerty key. Anyone else remember the space bar aligned to the right on the N900 as well? Who's the designer that came up with these ideas? They need to join the old CEO in finding a new job!

@ODDity004 it's not that bad. Backspace on Android is also at the bottom. You just have to adapt to the keyboard on whatever new phone you're using.
