Propecia is fine at 1mg per day.
Been on it for 8yrs. I have had 3 kids since, and very healthy, and have kept my hair.
Bloodwork confirms I've had ZERO problems. If you are just starting to loose hair it's for you.
Check with your doctor though. If you've been bald a while it won't work...
it only restores recently dead or dying hair folicles!

I've never heard that Propecia's side effects will keep people from growing their beards. I don't even think that's a side effect. I'd go for it.

i would really not recommend propecia. I took it for about a week and my lips tripled in size, much more embracing than loosing hair.

it can interfere with progesterone's neurosteroids. the enzyme Propecia inhibits is also responsible for that.
