But she has never never bitten at anyone for real and is very very smart - super gentle with and loving towards children; we trust her 100%.

My Jack Russell Rocket use to do the same thing when we would play with him. HE would never bite us, or anyone for that matter, all he would do was put his teeth on us as like a play bite. He would also do the sneezing thing when we played. Thats what reminded me on him in this video. Sadly we had to put him to sleep this past Christmas.
They do growl when they run, play and enjoy them selfs.. When when she is pissed... it is a growl from the bottom of her stomach.... And then she attacks.. This did happen last week to a poor pitbull, she had a go on him before i could separate them last week... ;-) She is in heat and "he" was in her way...she is a real bitch.. okay... so for all of the people who are complaining about this dog being trained to bite... i have a jack russell terrier who is about 2 years old.... when we play with him we will say "NUGGINS" and curl our pointer finger and he will acutally put our finger in his mouth so it is wrapped behind his largest/longest tooth up top and we pull gently... he's done this forever.... SO CALM DOWN... he's playing jeeze! and my JRT sneezes when he plays too!

I've had Jack russells for 17 years... They just do that its really funny and they will stop and lick you if you tell them to give you a kiss. Its just fun and games and mine have never broken the skin or hurt us. Our older jack whom just passed after 16 3/4 years would bite the hell out of you if you stepped on him. I also have 2 protection trained GSD our male will hold our hands in his mouth but not bite and our female just loves on us.

My JRT was trained and handled from a young age and does not display one ounce of bad behaviour and its things like this that give the breed a bad reputation!
yea when my jack russell doesnt want to play she growls but shes never bitten me only once when she almost died from my neighbors stupid dog while i was checking her for any scars or blood.

This is clearly mock aggression - anyone can see that. JRTs might be relatively small dogs, but if they really want to hurt you, they're more than capable. This is obviously playful, or at the very most half-hearted.

This is how he gets when he's playful. To people who don't understand Jacks, it looks like they're being aggressive but they're not. They're just playing. Ole is the same with my Dad, he playfights like this with Dad but he knows the limits he's allowed to go to.

I have a fully grown golden retriever who I wrestle with and he play bites me. My arm will be in his mouth but he knows to be gentle. He has never hurt a person before ever and is the friendliest dog in the world. He thinks he is a lap dog. [=
