@DerynBeale you need to open the cheat bar (by pressing Ctrl + Shift + C) and then type in "moveobjects on". then you can place them anywhere you want. to turn that off again type in "moveobjects off".

@preciouseloveu Open the console with Ctrl+Shit+C (on pc) and type in MoveObjects On. Hit enter to use the cheat code. Find the column you want to use and then when you go to place it hit Alt. Alt allows for off-grid placement.

@SuperGleelove It depends, if you're building a house through Edit Town mode, the simoleons "box" will be set to $0. When you save your house and you're back in map, click on it and you'll see the price of your house. But when you have a household and bought an empty lot, you can only use the money left at your simoleons "box".

Starter house? This is like, a normal family home XD ever since I saved up enough simoleons to buy the damn thing I've gotten like two promotions cause it's decorated so well and I almost never have a bad mood. perfect! ill start my vampire sim family (they have a daughter, its the city bridgeport, and their apartment is getting get too small for the family and the daughter is gonna need more room cause her room is really narrow) but i dont like houses with a lot of windows (i feel like they need more privacy) but i find paintings that look like windows and put them and put curtains around it so it will look like a window...kinda but its pretty in a way
