  • ii was in birmingham in 1996 and the under 15 ran 11.2, the u 17 10.75, jennifer meadows came 2nd in the 400 m and i think mark lewis francis was there and dwayne chambers was watching!

    im 16 years old and 1 week ago at a met east carnival (2 levels below national) i ran 11.75 for third place and first place ran 11.26 and this wasnt even his best time. i wonder how far that kid will go..

    U17=11.2

  • Generally the qualifying standards will be circulated with the entry form, however these championships are less strict about enforcing the standards because numbers are often low for many events.

    Clearly all athletes should be aspiring to compete at these championships, in which case numbers would rise, and the qualifying standards will need to be enforced.
