Oh man!! I love Stella McCartney! Gorgeous, as always! Though the models were a tad too thin. And the last model(1:44) looked awkward. Like she was struggling. Ha! Too weak for the thick clothes then? jk. This collection is just classic! =D so girly.

The model was Lara Stone (love her) and the reason she walks like that (in certain shows) is because her feet are smaller than the sample size. So I suppose she has to move to keep the shoes on. And look at those shoes! Anybody, especially as tall as they are, would have problems staying upright. One model lost hers. Impossible, but really hot.

Raquel Zimmerman opened the show, she did the new Fendi perfume ad and many ads before that, Anja Rubik is 0:41 (I've always loved her but loved even more after she cut her hair), Lily Donaldson is 0:51, she's the face of MaxMara and did many ad campgains for major labels also, Liya Kebede is 1:18, she used to walk exclusively for Tom Ford when he was in Gucci in the beginning of her modeling career, and Chanel Iman is the first model in the line-up at the end of the show (i love her!!!)

isn't that disgusting? sent home because she gained 5 lbs and her legs photographed fat. that's ridiculous. i'm not sure which is more morally repugnant - that she was sent away for gaining 5 lbs, or that there are models like Karlee Kloss who's 15.

At least she gained the 5 lbs, and didn't try to keep her weight down. Reading stories like the Rexton sisters is heart breaking. And for what? So some designer can put a bubble dress on a size 2?

It's maddening that Olga Sherer is still working when she really NEEDS medical attention.I adore Alber Elbaz's work, but the fact that such an ill model as Olga is featured in the campaign and his shows is really really horrible and misgynistic.I've had the opportunity to model, but this industry is so disgusting that I decided not to.I don't think being on the verge of illness just to slog down a catwalk is that lucrative.

Very well put. There was a photo of her backstage at Valentino last season, and she was a human x-ray. And you're right - misogyny is rampant in this industry. While fashion has done away with corsets, you have to ask yourself how free'd women really are?

Alber always says he admires mentally liberated women, but how liberated is an anorexic?

I just noticed this in the Elle video of the Lanvin show - there is a model at about 1:05 in a suit with no top on underneath. Her chest and collar bones are completely concave! He preaches beauty, power, feminity and freedom, but puts his clothes and therefore his ideas on women who embody the opposite of his stated beliefs.

I'm here to tell you, I mean not to offend/shame anorexics (or anyone else), but there is nothing luxe about an anorexic body.
