2) it is normal to crate train. My dog sleeps in one at night only because he wants to. The door is left open for him to leave it should he wish to. I most times have to literally drag him out of it while climbing into it because he refuses to leave it.

P.S. crates give dogs a sense of ownership because only they go in it. its good for their psychology to 'own' something and to feel in control

What's all the fuss about Bella's carrier? I have a yorkie too, he has a big cage for large dogs that he sleeps in at night but he also has a small car carrier that he LOVES and goes crazy for. I actually have to hide it in the closet because he likes to stay in there for hours! And it's really small too. Yorkies just likes smaller spaces I guess. Chill out people. She obviously takes good care of her dog!!

I think Bella is a mix of two different Terrier breeds, Kai. She has Yorkie colorings (I have a Yorkie myself, she's 4 lbs, full grown), but she's definitely big for just Yorkie.
