Because the original unconfirmed dates were 1 to 30 april but then Nintendo realised it was to short so they changed the dates to 1 april to 5 may as the confirmed dates :) Serebii explained that :)

hmmm thats wierd in the wifi events section of HG/SS it says until 5 may but in the current and upcoming events section it says until 30 april *_*
