I'm not going to ask for spoilers at all. I'm simply going to ask if the sequel is any good? I tried the first Lostwinds but I can't remember why I stopped anyways I guess it was because I got stuck on a puzzle and when I went to replay the game I couldn't remember how to perfrom some of the moves since I had spent so long away from it. Not that it matters now as My file on the game got erased anyway. Well anyways since this series is episodic will I need to have *2bcont.*
*Continued* Will I need to have completed the first one if I want to understand anything related to this second game in the series. And will I like it since I'm playing through the first one (I guess I'm enjoying the first now that I'm giving it a second chance at finishing it but I guess I was kind of dumb not to use a walkthrough from the very start) I kind of don't mind how you get moves later on before you can perform them since I'm a fan of the N64 Banjo-Kazooie and Tooie *2bcont.*
*Continued* I kind of don't mind how you get moves later on before you can perform them since I'm a fan of the N64 Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie since it was kind of the same case in those games as well. But anyways can you tell me anything I can do in order to download the sequel and keep Paper Mario and Orcarina of time while still having enough space for Sonic 3 Sonic & Knuckles and Sonic 4 (when it comes out) since I may have space issues. But I'd like to know if this one is worth My time.
Well, I would CERTAINLY recommend this one if you liked the first one. There's more to it, it's longer, and there's a REASON to get the statues other than 100% completion. It probably isn't NECESSARY to finish the first one to enjoy this one, you just may miss out on knowing who some characters are.
For space, I can only recommend you get an SD card and download the game directly to it. =)
Ah well nice to know that there is more to the Melodia Idols this time around. Though I didn't mind it not having a reward in the first one as it was pretty much the only way to make the quest a bit longer. But its great news that they actually have more purpose in collecting them. Well I finished the first one yesterday (I still don't know why I stopped after giving it a second chance I now know how great a game it is) but like a lot of others I was hungry for more *2bcont.*
*Continued* ;like others I was hungry for more. Anyways I need more Wii Points as I only have 400 which is not even enough to buy the cheapest stuff on the shop channel, I was going to use the websites that give away the points for free but then thought about how hard Frontier worked on the game and would feel bad doing that, so I'll look for cheap point cards. Anyways as much as I'd like the series to be one full game Wiiware is fine since it's one of the few worthwhile titles on Wiiware.
Well what type of thing do the statues unlock? Though if it's plot related then I'll wait until I play it for Myself but if it's simple unlockable stuff then I can probably take it. Reason I won't watch the LP itself to find out is because it wouldn't just tell Me what they unlock but also spoil the story for Me. You see I just got back from reading an FAQ guide that said the statues do nothing special, and it was a guide for the sequel. This confused Me since you said they served a purpose.
OK, Spoiler's ahead for anyone concerned, so if you don't want them, don't read.
Right, Riveren is a Melodia. At the start of the game, as we played as him, he was a simple Melodia who tended the palace gardens, explaining the niceness, but then he found that shard of spirit stone which contained, Dun-dun-dunnn! Balasar (Who said "I've found you") and he was corrupted. Now, this all happened quite a while before Toku went there (possibly even before he found Enril)
So, because this all happened a while ago, the Melodias were already stone before Toku went there, but after Riveren had found the stone. Now the big King is just the King of the Melodias who went away for some unexplained reason, and returned to find the melodias turned to stone. We then help the king of the melodias defeat Balasar at the end of the game. Oh, and I just remembered that Balasar cursed the water supply which caused people to turn to stone, which is why Sonté made everything cold
Looks interesting so far even though it was just bascially plot and not much in the way of actual gameplay. Is this your first time playing through this one? o.o

They unlock Character Bios on the main menu. It's nothing special, just a bit of fun trivia. =)

No duck raving? ;_; How will we go on?!

This is indeed my first time playing it because it only came out yesterday.
And, although the duck raving shall be sorely missed, I promise you I shall find something of equal or greater value to it.
(I already know what this is, hooray for playing this outside of YouTube!)
