They are in completely different regions. The likely hood of someone being a fan of both of these artists is slim so if the same parent music company feels this look was good for both of them the it works. She didn't copy shit from thousands of miles away.

For the US entertainers, the same thing exist for Japan. Japan has become the world's second largest exporter of (sub)cultural products behind US. I think that your love for Korea blinded you. Well, the user is from Viet Nam, so what? I like Korean music (though I don't like BoA) but actually IMO there are still many copycats in Korea especially in music & entertainment industry, i'm sure you know what i mean.The last months I'm often disappointed and I don't count anymore ripp off or very evident similarities with so many current american stuff. The external links given by cassy2on are some examples. I guess Korea isn't the only country like this but that's really often there.

their outfits LOOK similar, but are not. Lorie's outfits resemble some sort of school or maybe some other type of uniform. BoA's is just entirely different.
